karmachaosdad But if multiplayer is the problem, yeah, they could totally remove that, because I don't even believe the game launched with that originally. That was an update later on and then that's not where the game shines anyways. Combat felt different between the multiplayer and the storyline for me.
karmachaosdad Might as well throw my vote in as well, 'cause I have it on PlayStation as well, and I thought it was a fantastic game there. But yeah, I'd love a pc copy. I picked it up on somewhat of a sale on PlayStation for like $35 I believe but I would have paid full price because it was such a good game.

tedeee don't rush. the game has pretty weak and clunky combat mechanics, and i the enviroment design felt half fleshed out. definitely amongst the most over-rated games of the past decade.

It is good. But to see it on GOG either it would need a PSN account (if cross-platform for this part of the title is possible)
Either : a rework from GOG (doubtful... but who knows) or most likely the MP portion stripped, since the MP could be played without the main game portion.
Box0Doughnuts I have refused to purchase this on Steam due to some of my recent interactions with Sony/PlayStation. I would love an option to purchase this game on GOG without Sony's BS DRM.

whiteskymage I will not buy Ghost Of Tsushima until it is not released onto GoG. I want the game to stay with me forever. No company and platform is too big to fail and games are a piece of art! DRM ensures the game's demise with the platform that it is released on! At least release only the single player as a standalone DRM Free game.

dhonavin I'm surprised this is getting a PC release (and glad), but if it actually gets a GOG release I'll buy day 1 with a big discount. I'm done holding my breath though. If they want us to buy actual day 1, start releasing DRM free. Asian culture needs to learn DRM is not equal to respect for their art. DRM is a scheme to take money from publishers and developers by fearmongering. w/e no one cares, everyone just uses steam DRM and zerks off gabe.
JakobFel Please, yes. It'd be absolutely awesome to get this game DRM-free someday. I plan to buy it regardless of whether it comes here or not but man, it'd be nice to actually OWN the game.
Xeshra I would not say that Sony is not caring, instead GoG is just not the first priority for obvious reasons. Several solid Sony titles has been released already, so it is not impossible getting this game too.

Nediar_HF If God of War is coming and we already got the likes of Uncharted I'm sure it's a matter of time after it comes out on Steam, I'll wait for the GOG version , Played it back on PS4 era and it was great if you like Ubisoft style formula, the gameplay was vastly superior.

Charodiy_UA One smart person on the Wishlist section has written the following (and I entirely agree with his train of thought): "If you really want to make exclusive game for some platform - make it, !But make game exclusive ONLY for a short period of time! and after that publish this game on all platforms: PC, Consoles, and Mobile platform. With such a thing you can avoid "piracy" in early stage of the game release and after that Gamers on all platforms will receive The Great Game! and will play it with great pleasure :)".

fil-cat I correct myself: Horizon Zero Dawn was a test releasing it on GoG. Guerilla Games is Sony owned and the former managing director and co-founder Hermen Hulst became head of PlayStation Studios.
So anything SONY-owned and controlled is unlikely to come to GoG DRM-free and only selected titles will come to PC after years at all after an exclusive period for Playstation. Don't expect that to change any time soon ...
Independent Studios with timed exclusive contracts might so, they can decide themselves after the exclusivity contract has run out.
fil-cat Very very unlikely to happen any time soon (like within the next 15 years or so). Although I wish it to come to GoG, this is SONY. Sony is very restrictive and controlling, especially with their exclusive titles. You gotta be greatefull they slightly opened up to PC at all. But them going DRM-less on GoG? Unless the game is very very very old ... probably not happening. And we do not want DRM or launchers now, do we? Horizon Zero Dawn was not released by SONY (PlayStation Studios) itself but a different company that collaborated with SONY - it's very important to distinguish between collaboration partners and contractual work. You might see Quantic Dream games like Heavy Rain, Beyond: two souls, Detroit: become human or even the Kojima games like Death stranding here before any of SONY's PlayStation Studios games unfortunately.
