shadowmirage: As the title states, Baldur's Gate crashes every fifteen minutes on my MacBook Pro OSX 10.8.5 with the following error message: "The program BGMain2.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This has made the game frustratingly unplayable, especially when the crashes occur right after a difficult battle. Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there a solution to it?

CPU: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
RAM: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000
