i finish that game twice, once on my old PC and another time on this one i use now, but i didn't play almost at all the stetchkov syndicate. some things you should know before you buy:
- there are no healing items, no saves, no checkpoints; you must finish the mission from start to end.
- don't rely on team members because they die like flies against enemies. the only thing they're good for is to open doors and throw flash grenades (if you can't do that yourself). and if your team members die, you lose points so meh.
- the enemies have instant time reaction, meaning that the mustard gun, the one which shoots little balls instead of bullets to make people choke, well that gun is almost useless unless fired at very close range because balls have a speed; they don't instant hit. so once you fire, enemy moves, then you miss. and at end game all enemies have gas masks. iirc in stetchkov syndicate even the starting enemies have gas masks.
- the basic procedure is this: you see armed suspect, you are not allowed to shoot or you lose points. you must shout "police!" and then you see what enemy does. if he reaches for gun, you are STILL not allowed to shoot - only after enemy points gun at you - that's the only time you're allowed to shoot without points penalty. some enemies will put their hands up and pretend they surrender, then they'll gradually lower their hands to reach for guns. you are still not allowed to shoot until gun points at you.
- the different difficulty levels have different score requirements in missions to unlock the next one. so if you play hard, you must be professional
- you have body armor and helmet but a single pistol shot can somehow kill you so have fun
