So I was going through all of my orders yesterday under "Orders and Settings" (20 friggin pages of orders...) and I got to this old one from Dec 11, 2016. (See screenshot). It was a gift of several games... but it says that one of them was Not Yet Redeemed. I don't remember this at all, so have no idea what the reason was (I'm guess the person I gifted them too must have already had Divine Divinity in their library). Any maybe someone could take a look at that screenshot and tell if it might still be a good code or not.

So, does anyone want Divine Divinity? It's a really really REALLY good (IMO) Diablo like hack and slash RPG. I really loved it (till the end) and played through I dunno how many times. It's good action, it's good some really good humor, and it's got an awful lot of thing we all look for in games... FUN. It's one of those games that may not go down as the best in history or a classic.. but it is just plain fun. In fact, it is IMO, the best of the Larian games.

I would be really interested in it. I have rather fond memories of this game.

Did you try to claim it?

ADDED: Okay the game has been claimed... so the code must have been good.

How can I do that?
Edit: silly me haven't noticed the code in the screenshot.
Alexim this is the very first game in the series.

I've redeemed it, thanks OldFatGuy!
A question, where is it positioned within the Divinity saga? Do you need to have played the previous chapters to understand the story?

Edit: Sorry Ravinius, I acted fast because these keys never stay around for much time XD

It's too late.. someone beat you to it. It's been claimed already.

But to answer your question... the screenshot had the code.

No, it's the very first one Larian made. Then came Beyond Divinity, then Divinity 2, then IIRC Divinity Dragons something something and then the Divinity Original Sins 1 and 2. (I might be forgetting something between Divinity 2 and the first Original Sin. Feels like I am.

GREAT GAME, one of the best, but the characters walk around like they have sticks up their butts.

Oh, and when you get the chance, kill one of Otho's pigs. It's great! :D

LOL, because you're right about the game suggesting it... I'd bet everyone tried it at least once. No way you "suffered" alone.

Where did you get that impression from? Like tinyE said, the game actually suggests you do just that. (it's one of the hint screens that pop up when loading or something IIRC it went something like "Kill one of Otho's pigs... he loves it").

don't hate me later.....

I would have asked for it if i didn't have it already.

I recall starting it up and trying it out, having an issue with the first couple fights, and not really getting past the first area. Course that was some years ago.

I suppose i could give it a try again...
I had a bug with the gog version of Divine Divinity : some characters were hostile which prevented me from finishing the game. I created a thread some time ago where I explained how to solve this bug : https://www.gog.com/forum/divinity_series/divine_divinity_hostile_characters_bug
