The card game mechanic made the transition really well, at least from a sales standpoint. Not Solitaire and the like (though those still sell for some reason) but stuff like Magic: The Gathering and whatnot.

I seem to barely remember a particular train board game that made its way to PC, maybe last decade.

And there are some would / could / should be board games that haven't made the transition to tabletop. Thinking of stuff like Armageddon Empires.
can anyone translate OP? is it about board games turned into digital games?

Side of my head started to hurt last night reading a post from him. I gave up after 2 lines. Google translate said it was Hmong language...

Fairfox, what happened to you man? :( I feel sad now

I don't think it's worth anyone's effort.
Well, there's that universal board game simulator thingy, on steam. Emulates a million board games, and I suppose it's cool when your friends are too far to gather around the table.

But I'm more prone to wishing a digital game to be made physical than the other way round. And in-between, I'm frustrated by Into The Breach not being playable as a hologram.
Yeah... that can be awesome, like with the recently released Fallout board game.

Personally, I've been waiting for a whole lot of stuff that just isn't coming. Shadowrun: Sprawl Gangers for example. It seems that it's more expensive these days to make board games than computer games. Ah well.

In case it counts, FunCom has recently announced a game based on the P&P I've been playing, i.e. Mutant: Year Zero. And it's supposed to land this year too.

By the way, deciphering Fairfox' posts is like a discussion board game, so what's with the boo-hoo? :)
