P.S: Instead of boycotting and getting discouraged by other people or by how the forums work, you could also try to drive the conversation towards points you consider to be more interesting and intelligent. I bet some users will resonate with your content and intent and maybe that alone can compensate for the 'bad stuff'. Take it easy!

That's exactly it. They don't have any forum staff (as said earlier staff are just staff members who drop in now and again, they don't have forum only staff.) And the forum is still broken in places and rep is still there despite GOG saying rep will be removed many, many years ago. Clear indications that if they could they would axe the forum.

Also i'd love for them to overhaul the forum, as if they did care about it (and the wishlist) then they would spend just as much time messing them up as they do the main site.

But then again perhaps its a good thing the forum and wishlist get no love from GOG.

Actually they do and every now and then they remind me of it.

My conduct is being monitored, which I don't mind and am even fine with. If I do something they don't like, they politely let me know, they request I edit/change it, which I do with no complaints, bitterness, angst, or finger pointing. I had enough of that crap when I was twelve years old. :D

Proof that you're not 13: Being grounded would be the dream of every kid today. The real punishment would be to change the password on the router and force the kid to spend X amount of hours outside.
