Vendor-Lazarus: Use it to your advantage, and remember that it's almost three times as fast as me, next time you hit your cap.
It would also depend on the size of your allowed data though..Mine is 20gb. ,)

Though I will get a much fast internet soon (TM)..As fast as 10000mbps ..That's 10gbps.

*edit* 10gbps, without any sort of cap either.

Maighstir: Now, just make sure you get a network card -and other network gear- that can take advantage of it. You don't want to be limited by your router or a switch. Also, make sure your storage can handle it if you're downloading stuff - a SATA SSD will NOT be able to keep up, even many NVME drives may not be able to. You may need RAID0 or similar even with NVME unless you like your network connection to be bottlenecked by your storage (I wouldn't mind having that problem though).
I probably wont chose that speed right out of the gate. I mean, I've managed on slightly less than under 1mbps for over 10 years so.. I could always upgrade later.

Still, it's good advice. I haven't moved away from HDD to SSD so that's no problem yet. External drives are a boon.
I will make sure my next computer includes what I need. And always make sure to check the PSU too.

Currencies are assigned based on the currently used IP address.
I am afraid that this limitation can not be bypassed.

Well done GOG, one lost sale, not just now but permanently never going to buy this from you.
Gog does that to prevent people gaming the system for cheaper games.....not to be mean to anyone.

Braggadar: That being said, this forum is long overdue for a complete do-over, some full-time strong moderation and a choice number of members here perma-banned. I won't hold my breath, it's more likely to be completely shut down than remade at this point.

Agreed. Unfortunately sometimes it is hard to ignore things but maybe we should learn to do so.

I always follow the live and let live principle whenever possible.....if someone isn't harming me or mine or trying to take something away from me that is very valuable to me then I can usually ignore said people if they wrong me in lesser ways.
