Pfft, I grew up in Minnesota and walked to school in jeans, a sweatshirt, and a hat in the middle of a blizzard for a full hour once. I was listening to Behemoth while I was walking and it was pretty fucking brutal. Walking down the sidewalk was like walking through icy trenches as the trucks pushed the snow up near them causing them to make huge piles all the way down. When I finally got to school I had to climb a mini mountain and I slipped and rolled down into what was left of the parking lot.
One of my jobs ended up being near my school so I got to walk home another hour in another blizzard at 6 in the morning, dark as fuck out, as giant snow trucks went up and down the street. I felt like frogger trying to dodge those things.
Thank god I moved to Oregon. Now it just rains. A lot.
