So I just made a GOG account today and decided to download the client as well. The installation was fine, but once it installed I got a pretty strange message.

I am using Windows 10, and windows 10 has these pop ups that jump out of the lower left side, usually when you installed an update or connected a device. After I finished installing GOG Galaxy I got one of those pop ups, but here's the problem, the pop up was in traditional Chinese and for some reason had three "???" in the middle of the message. And I live nowhere near China and my language settings are on English. Really weird.

Is this a bug? Did I download some faulty version? Or am I being hacked by Chinese communist party officials trying to steal my Dungeon Keepers? (Unlikely)

I googled it a few times but I seem to be the only one who experienced this. Would like to see if anyone else had these issues, so I can avoid doing virus scans...
low rated
1.Do the scans as it's better than having to reinstall windows because of a bug.
2.Galaxy is beta and has a couple of bugs.
3.Big understatement in 2.
4.If bug keeps coming ask Support.

Happened to me before, I didn't track it down but I believe it's qt related.
Reported at mantis some time ago..
Recently installed Galaxy in wine and my custom download folder was named 䐡睯汮慯獤
what means "you have just experienced a weird bug, nothing to worry about"

You mean Galaxy or LXDE?
I have LXDE installed on eee pc 900 and takes about 100MB of RAM and with some other running tools less than 200MB of RAM on my main laptop
Galaxy however, takes several hundred along with wine..

i have no intentions of ever inviting the mess that is galaxy on any of my systems
but i am messing around with different linux distro's on a
celeron 1500mhz
with 2 gig of ram
a gma 950
and a 60 gig hd

from the sound of it lxde might run on it
currently it has xubunutu and im deciding which distro to throw at it next
I had something similar happen to me

reinstalled the computer from scratch and ... had it once more, but I did a screenshot this time.

I tried google translate on it, but its gibberish.

I don't think you can go much lighter with DE.
Here's my main laptop specs and memory usage after restart.
