Splatsch: Take a look here and look at the "DDwrapper" file, may be it could help ? I can't say for sure because I don't have the game so I haven't tried, but I found this page while doing researches about the game.
Hope this will help :)
Downloaded and extracted these files of the DDwrapper and the game's video crashed, it was running but I couldn't see any game.

Not sure it's a matter of configuring something or maybe gog's version is not compatible with the wrapper out of the box.

Ah, sorry that it didn't worked :/
All I can suggest now is to contact support, and go on the dedicated forum.
And maybe ask to Anotomix, he seems to be the Allods2.eu admin, maybe he could help ?
I wish you good luck :)

To run GOG version of Rage of Mages 2 on Windows 8 or higher you must set such compatibility settings to allods2.exe (rom2.exe): http://i.imgur.com/KNAuxfI.png

P.S. Don't pay attention to flag "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" (I mean it is still required to run the game), you will still be able to set 1024x768 from shortcut adding -1024 at the end of executable.

Beelzebubb: The scroll speed of the camera is insane and makes it impossible to play.

JMich: For RoM2, add -1024 to the shortcut, to make it run at a higher resolution. The scroll speed is much better there.
I've also seen a scroll speed edit to the exe, but didn't try it, since the scroll speed was fine at 1024x768.
I have the same problem with toooooo fast map scrolling in RoM1 (-1024 doesnt help). Win7.... Is there any solution for that?

It may not be the perfect solution, but I use the arrow keys to scroll myself.
Hey people, come and try multiplayer client, I pretty sure if you like single player, then multiplayer experience will be much more interesting.
