So how do you play your stealth games? What difficulty do you play on and do you reload a save every time you mess up or do you just live with the consequences?
How can I improve my skills with stealth games like Dishonored, Hitman, Thief and Deus Ex and others? I own most of these stealth games.
Those might be up your alley if you want to "learn" the genre, because you can set your own goals, and you can always fall back to other means (=mostly brute force) when you fail your sneaky attempts. Morrowind - though I love the game - is not very good with sneaking mechanics though.
For real stealth games my favourite is still the original Thief - early levels without all the monsters - on the hardest setting where you can't kill any human. It really teaches you to be patient and observant, and bold in the right moment. I think those are the essentials of stealth.
