I hope they add the ability to turn human NPCs into vampires that then become your allies (or enemies if you piss them off) in case they make another Bloodlines. Less necessity for combat as well. I think I would prefer a more dynamic, organic gameplay flow too with less focus on some main quest. Just living in a world trying to survive and reaching personal goals as a true RPG would be beyond great.

Knowing the current trend it will probably turn into a Nosgoth clone or a lame card game.
First you'll get a redux edition. It'll feature "UI updates". At this point, it'll become impossible to buy Bloodlines (that's Bloodlines Antediluvian Edition now) unless you get the Most Definitive Edition.

Then a remake, streamlined for modern audiences, ie it'll be a cover shooter with a dialogue wheel, in the finest tradition of today's greatest "RPGs".

Oh and how about a board game? Those are pretty hot right now.

Maybe a movie as well? I hear Uwe Boll is available.

Siegor: White Wolf used to publish the Vampire the eternal struggle card game, which was the best multiplayer CCG ever designed, and the pen and paper RPG so this might not necessarily be about the vídeo game.

neurasthenya: Paradox bought White Wolf;
Paradox is pals with Obsidian;
Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky (two of the 3 Troika founders) are currently working at Obsidian;

anothername: Since all involved parties are already working with gog my uneducated guess is that nothing will happen with the games presence here. Except the publisher tag of it might be changed from Activision to Paradox. And we might get a massive sale before the switch.
Pfff. That would be good. Looking back at what happened to Duke Nukem, that would be too good...

Yeah, but the Duke went to Gearbox and they have the head so deep in steams ass that they choke on the anus pressure on their neck and mistake that feeling for pleasure.
Was coming here to see whether anybody had posted about it, since I just saw the news elsewhere now, and see not only that it's a day old, but also that it likely means nothing, with some evidence to back up that claim. Ah well. Better always expect the worst and hope for surprises than the other way around, eh?

Breja: It's gonna suck.
I, for one, am going to embrace it.

tremere110: You sure this is about the video game? White Wolf has the Vampire the Requiem Bloodlines series: Vampire the Requiem Bloodlines the Hidden or Vampire the Requiem Bloodlines the Legendary etc.

It's a series of rpg supplement books for the Vampire the Requiem line. I'd love to see another pc game set in Vampire the Masquerade but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Hell, I'd be happy to see a pc game set in Vampire the Requiem. Especially after the Blood and Smoke update.
I don't think so, they're apparently working on a fifth edition of the RPG.

Ah, maybe that's why they trademarked vampire bloodlines. They're gonna redo the vampire bloodlines series or make something similar.

Glad to see you're not anemic to the idea.
