Thats good news. HR was really good, so I'm curious to play the DC.

They have a history of doing this. I know, it's consoles, but if they have a choice between offering a lower priced version and charging full price, they'll go for the full price. Especially since they lost a lot of money due to their dumbass expectations.
Aren't those decade later remasters?

Nope. All of these are Japanese release dates.

Kingdom Hearts: March 28, 2002
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix: December 26, 2002

Kingdom Hearts II: December 22, 2005
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix: March 29, 2007

Final Fantasy X: July 19, 2001
Final Fantasy X International: January 2002

Final Fantasy X-2: March 13, 2003
Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission: February 19, 2004

So there's precedent for them releasing upgraded versions of games. Just saying... I'm not too optimistic about this.

Okay.

Well we shall see. What works for the JRPG market doesn't necessarily translate to Deus Ex, I hope they know that.

No to be SE defender but they were PS2 games so there was no possibility for DLC plus the second releases were english audio version with jap subs while originals were in japanese and they had some important system changes. At that time there was no other way to release that type of stuff.

The only question now is: when? It was supposed to be released in May for the WiI U, but since they need to port this to three more platforms, that obviously couldn't happen. : /

If Square uses Steam for DLC and update purposes, like I believe most publishers do, there is a chance they will see this as a final release without further content and put it here.

I doubt it though.
