Meh, they're nothing compared to the epic stealth action game that Frank Herbert's Dune is. THAT game needs to be here. :D

Kjellboy: Ouch, I'll stay away then. Amazon had both games, non could be delivered to Norway. Sad.

Let me repeat myself: Doesn't deliver to Norway. :p
I do not believe this.

Here it says, games can be delivered to Norway.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_rel_topic?ie=UTF8&nodeId=524836

For example, one seller from Amazon.co.uk is willing to ship Emperor Battle For Dune to Europe Zone 3 which includes Norway.

Amazon does not deliver to Norway? That is odd. I've ordered plenty of things from both Amazon.co.uk & Amazon.com. Actually, according to Amazon themselves, they ship to Norway, though individual retailers who sell things through amazon might not (though my experience with shipping to Sweden is that most do ship internationally)

Yeah, definitely! Man, I swear I did my very best to play the game to the very end. "Just give this game one more chance" - I kept convincing myself. And then I did it again and again and again. "Come on, it has the word Dune in the title - there must be something at least remotely entertaining in there you just need a little more time to find it" But noooo, I couldn't! Even a big Dune fan such as myself couldn't stand it any longer and lo! The game officially became THE WORST GAME I've ever played. So if there is a gamer-hell where you are forced to play the game you loathe most that will be Frank Herbert's Dune for me.
Dune and Blade Runner need to be here, yes. But the chances are so low you might as well just download it.

If it ever does appear here, just delete your downloaded copy and buy it.

keeveek: It's interesting how often threads about Dune pop out lately.
I find it pretty amusing I must admit ;) But I suspect that pretty soon I will get bored ;)

Yeah, I guess that's the best solution. Few years before I would think it's fair to wait until the rights are settled. But for some titles, you may as well just wait forever.

From publisher's perspective, it's no different if you buy used copy on eBay or download a pirated copy.

And if the rights get settled eventually, you may buy it. Both parties satisfied.

It's pretty trashy but actually I think that people are a little too harsh. It may be the worst stealth game I have played yet and it may have made mediocre use of the license but I still managed to enjoy some parts of it. I'm crazy, I know. :3

I'm still wondering why there's so many problems with licensed games. I mean, lots of movies are based on a book, comic or video game, they use lots of licensed music but still distributors don't seem to have a very hard time providing DVDs and BluRays of any of them. I mean, I have seen a movie or two on DVD where they had to replace the music from the original version and I've also seen German DVD releases of obscure cartoons that did not have the voice track of the TV version that everybody knew and loved but these things seem to be exceptions. Frank Herbert's family may be overly protective of the Dune franchise but we still get to buy DVDs and BluRays of the movies based on it, it's weird that it's so incredibly complicated with the games. Same goes for Blade Runner and many other cases.

Yeah, if you think of it as a stealth game than probably it's just bad. But if you think of it as a Dune game (and I cannot do it otherwise) it becomes absolutely terrible ;)

It's not what I meant. x) I have bought quite a few things from Amazon, and always have gotten the items after 2-3 days of waiting after the item has been shipped. Even from Amazon in America. I am just hoping I will get Wii U the same day it is released from Amazon UK. The Witcher 2 CE, Amazon shipped that one 3 days before release. Got it the day before release. :D But still not the point. Not every seller delivers to Norway. That was my point. :p Went through several pages just so I could get my hands on Drakengard. :p

Anyway, may order both games next month, since it has been found. I just have to hope and pray the seller still got it by then. :p

Run in compatibility mode( I assume you're talking about Dune2000)
Never in my life has "Compatability Mode" been anything but a tease. "looks at computer and flips bird"
