Okay, I have just finished my second play-through of the Witcher 2 and all I can say about the game is that it has exceeded all my expectations (except the sex-cards' dumping;)) and it has easily become my favorite game of all time. But instead of writing a long-winded review like the one I did for the Witcher 1 at some obscure websites years ago, I suppose I can better express my appreciation of CD Project's awesome endeavor by making a little trivia here in which 5 winners can get away with 5 GoG's gift certificates for the Witcher 2.

The trivia will consist of questions concerning with Polish culture and Polish history (to honor the origin of the developers). Some questions may have a certain connection with the game but you will not need any knowledge of the game whatsoever to answer them right. I don't care if you use google or wikipedia, just be the first to answer correctly and you will win the gift code. Also, you can only win one (1) gift code. A final note, this competition is reserved to the ones who haven't got the Witcher 2 game, so if you already got it (through physical or digital distribution), please refrain from participating. Thank you very much.

1st question: (dedicated to Letho, my favorite character ;))

Name the odd one out:

Chopin vodka, Zubrowska vodka, Sobieski vodka, Biala Dama vodka. Why?

Chopin, it's made from potatoes not a grain like the others.

Do I answer here or in PM?

Isn't all vodka made from potatoes?

Darling_Jimmy: Isn't all vodka made from potatoes?
Lol no.
Zubrowska vodka, cause it's made on the Polish-Belarusian border?
Chopin vodka.

It doesn't have a "b" in the name. ;)
"Zubrowska vodka" is the odd one. It's the only flavoured vodka there, and also the only vodka not named for a person.

...and it's the only one you misspelled.

GameRager: Lol no.
Hmm, Wikipedia agrees with you. I have filled my quota of learning things for the day. Yay!

It's either from potatos or some grains. In this case 3 of them are from rye.

I am going to answer Sobieski one. It's only one named after famous person and it's got Bruce Willis as spokeperson. Who can beat that? :-)

Biala Dama vodka because it hasn't been guessed yet.

EDIT: Ninja'd so fixed.

No, vodka can also be made from grains (typically rye or wheat) but can also be made from a varaity of different things.

Anyway I'm not sure that answer counts since Chopin is also made from rye for half the year. I'm going to guess Żubrówka because it only comes in a flavored version

Edit: too slow >:(

Zubrowka... since its name doesn't represent a person?

(and it is also misspelled in your post?)
Or maybe Chopin and Sobieski are odd ones. Because they are 1st and 3rd. ;-)

Dang it I was just about to guess this too. Looks like we were both beaten by Zchinque anyway
