So I'm going invite some of my friends over to play some games. I have 3 gaming capable PC's in the house, and I was wondering what are some cheap games to play over LAN. What are some GOG games that I can use? I already know about Unreal Tournament and its sequels.
I could suggest:

Rise of the Triad
Duke Nukem 3D
Warsow
Neverwinter Nights
Baldur's Gate 2
Icewind Dale 2
Fallout Tactics
Kingpin: Life of Crime
Postal 2
GRiD
System Shock 2 (sorta)
Syndicate Wars

Probably WAY more than I'm thinking of.
Erm... Torchlight ?

EDIT: PAINKILLER !!!

My thoughts:

- Master of Orion 2
- Lords of the Realm 2
- Imperialism (1, not 2)
- Does Alpha Centauri do multiplayer?
- Descent 2
- All of the Infinity Engine D&D games that support multiplayer.
- Some of the Serious Sam games are entertaining to play for mindless fun
- Marathon Infinity on the Aleph One engine: http://source.bungie.org/
- Commandos

You can also go to the browse section and sort by single player, multiplayer, or co-op.
If any of you have a copy of the original Starcraft it can be used for LAN. You can spawn clones or use the full version with one of the later patches that removed the disk check. There's a good chance one of you should have access to a copy.
Age of Wonders Shadow Magic
Any of the Infinity Engine games, though I'd imagine Icewind Dale 1 or 2 would be a better option than Baldur's Gate.
Neverwinter Nights 1&2 for similar reasons, though those games have CD keys so... maybe not?
Not on GOG, but anything Blizzard made before Starcraft II is very LAN friendly.
Painkiller
Blood 1/2
Blade of Darkness
Earth 21xx
Empire Earth
Far Cry
System Shock 2
Decent 2 was IMO the most fun LAN game ever!
But the good old Counterstrike is also still fun (with the right people).
Good Multiplayer LAN? here - > http://www.euskal.org/en/

Oh, games... no idea about that. But that one's one hell of a LAN, I can tell you that.

If you have internet connection, you can also play SC2 with a single copy. With the latest patch, it has the Spawning feature of previous games, thus, you can create a game and invite Starter Edition copies to have them temporarily upgraded to WoL or HotS (depending on which version you have).
I didn't see Serious Sam listed... that is tons of fun and has coop.
