When do you think I can start paying for my GOG purchases using other payment systems like Amazon or Google ?

It's a shame that GOG still supports only paypal which have less than a reputable business practice and are know for harassing customers.

I'm perfectly happy with using my credit card. Especially as GOG doesn't store my data.

And I personally don't like google any more than Ebay (paypal).

I don't think either of them is available in Cypress.

Use your credit / debit cards. GOG doesn't store the cards data so your stuff is safe.

my credit-card company charges me a high commission on transactions done in any currency other than euro.

Ironic since I am in Europe and buying from a European company!

Anyway .. the point is not about which CC to use. The point is the convenience of using an digital form of payment and having a choice about which one I prefer to use.

Paypal does automatic currency conversion but ends up charging even more than my bank ..
for me Google checkout is the cheapest option.

That's what I use for online transactions.

For non italians: it's an italian debit card.

I use PayPal because it's easy and I haven't been harassed by them. My European account allows me to quickly transfer money from my bank account so I don't have to get into debt when making an online purchase. I also have an American PayPal account which is always good to have in case I ever need to pay for something in the US...if someone was willing to actually deliver to Europe.

Whatever it is that PayPal is doing wrong matters little to me.

You can't find a bank with a Visa Electron debit account? It costs me an euro a month to use, and no other fees.

Also, how does Paypal charge you exactly? I never got anything from them except the arbitrary fee to "validate" my account. As I see it, they always charge the seller.

I'd love for GOG to add Google Checkout as a payment option. PayPal does not support my country, Google does.

I don't like it. It stores my CC info by default, and i have to delete my CC data every time.
