Probably some god. You know, the kind of god that tells you that swearing is worse than mass-killing. That kind might actually be petty enough to go around peeing in random bowls of cornflakes. :-)

fortune_p_dawg: The interwebz pee monster.

hucklebarry: That thread was about the notification of the content of the game... nothing more. It was NOT about what is right or wrong, but about informing people so that they can make their own decisions. They have since updated the card and I think the issue is completely solved now.

fortune_p_dawg: I know the topic of which you're speaking. Come to think of it that topic did seem a bit pompous, entitled, and self-righteous; and to say the creator of said topic was simply trying to inform people of the game's content would be a bit of an understatement. It wasn't like the TC simply stated "watch it everyone, there are some curse words here!" It was more along the lines of "GOG u sick person gee willikurz I want a refund who plays this gosh darn tripe anyway!? so wat about that refund GOG huh or is ur costomer service so bad u just LET innocent people like me byuy stuff like this what about my virgin eyeballs?!"
From the OP of that thread: (I think you are remembering it quite wrong). He was not trying to convince anyone to hold his view, merely to let him know the rating first.

"OK, I honestly could do very well without the four letter language even before you start this game.

If this is what is intended to pass for some sort of humor then this game is going to stink on one level so bad.

Gog seriously needs to have a rating system of at least a minimal nature. I would have never purchased this game if I knew this up front. About twenty seconds into the opening cut scene and I am being turned away from the game. Start the game and it does not appear to get any better.

Not everyone finds this funny or acceptable in their purchased entertainment.

Gog, please let people know what they are buying before they drop their money on a game. A refund would be great actually."
I am in way too good of a mood to get into a stupid argument over a stupid post. Pardon me, I'm already in a stupid argument over a stupid post. :D What I mean to say is I'm in way too good of a mood to continue to carry on a stupid argument about a stupid post. Think I'll go for a walk, play some guitar, play some Settlers, pull my pud, dance a jig, anything but this. XD

Nope. He was letting everyone know that he was too stupid to inform himself about a game he was going to buy, that he had a stick in his arse and that he is one of those queer people that think killing is better than swearing (or, heaven help, sex!).
Crap - sorry I tried to poke some fun. Buy Unepic, I guess.
Well I bought the game and so far, I think it is awesome and I usually do not like games like this.

langurmonkey: Which Settlers?
ALL OF THEM!
I'm on 4 right now. As for guitar Revelations off Piece of Mind.
I played through the whole game a couple times, once on normal then hard.

If you want a difficult game or if you're looking for an experience it's good for either.
Honestly, I loved it. There is a fair amount of variety you can upgrade your character towards.
I played through a melee/ranged run-through, and a near magic only (be ready to put your pennies towards essence). I found myself relishing how various weapons/spell classes actually felt different and suited towards certain enemies/tasks.

I had a great deal of fun, story was enjoyable in a non-serious sort of way. Bosses were varied and often exciting (save for boss 4... that guy's a dick). Quests were typically fun though a few just dragged on, and the torch lighting mechanic feels more of a chore than anything. Also there is a great deal of motivation to backtrack once you unlock new abilities, and as the game progresses the challenge does seem to build reasonably.

Let me know if this helped out at all.
It is coming to Linux.
