I don't know what it is — maybe it's a Patch Gone Wrong for the enhanced edition and I don't know if this has been a bug in the original or not since I never got this far in the original . . . but Val won't buy scalps. When I first ran into her I had scalps on me and she wouldn't talk to me after introducing herself. Now that I've got 25 scalps she still won't talk to me. And all the forum discussions I've looked at say that Feldepost buys scalps, but Feldepost has *never* bought scalps.

Grrr... .

Anyone heard anything about this bug?

I assume you refer to Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition?

Yeah, thank god for that. For a second there I thought I was going to have to shift them as a wholesale job lot on eBay for a fraction of their true market value. Being in the scalping trade is tough enough as it is without some EU regulatory bullshit putting me out of business.

This is blind rage. Those scalps really mango'd you up my poor man.

True, I've been too zealous/bloodthirsty collecting those scalps, cleaning out their village. Must calm down... gentle thoughts... .

If I remember Val right, if you sold her all of your scalps or was it talking to her after selling her scalps she will no longer buy anymore. I remember googling it not too long ago, and the answer came up. I also don't remember anyone else that purchases them. It was a minor issue for me, because by that time I had more than enough money.
The main thing that pissed me off about BG1, was all the unused items that you could build up. You only needed one of the damn skulls, but you get them everywhere. You only needed one sample of tainted ore, but it was everywhere. All the books you could collect. And all the insect hides that you could only sell a certain amount and could only create one suit of armor out of.
Oh, this is for the EE version, I have no experience with that.
