You've merely adopted the chaos. They were born in it.

Pandemonium 2, a crazy colorful 2.5D platformer with two very different characters traversing many trippy, devious, and action-packed locations, is available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

Here's a new story of Nikki and Fargus, the Sorceress and the Fool--erm, sorry: Court Jester would be the correct title to use. We all have to learn to address him with due respect. After all, if the dynamic duo succeeds in their quest, they'll have the ultimate magical power of the Comet of Infinite Possibilities within their grasp. Oh well, better them than the Goon Queen, I'll guess. It's better to have chaotic good overlords, than a chaotic evil despot ruling the world, after all!

Pandemonium 2 offers you a diverse, zany, and colorful world that just begs for you to run and jump through its many crazy loops. It's a non-stop wild platforming party full of crazy ideas, wicked humor, and magic. At times, you'll get the impression that the game's world was designed by a five-year-old, and we mean it in the best possible sense. It's an explosion of imagination you really need to experience!

Unleash the chaos, run like hell, and reach for the ultimate mystical power in Pandemonium 2, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

G-Doc: Yeah, what's up with that? One might even think GOG's building up to something ;-)

SLP2000: Like i.e. fake closure?
Definitely not that :P
Nice, wishlisted for now (must finish the first one before)

Just remember what happened with Mind-Blowing May. You know how we love to take hints and run with them. (Don't mean to speak down to you, just want to suggest caution.) Now, Wizardry was pretty blowing, but there were still people that were disappointed.

Sooo, if this is the summer sale, that's all well and good, but if it's NOT special game releases or publishers, can you please just tell us? (Just so that we don't run wild)

Great release! That game is still a classic and totally worth checking out for any fan of 2.5D platformers.

I guess that's exactly what G-Doc is trying to do :>>
It's called: building a hype :P

JudasIscariot: Definitely not that :P

Some people were disappointed also by System Shock 2, and people would be disappointed even if GOG released all LucasArts games or SSI Goldbox games here.

I would probably pass the SSI Goldbox games as I don't see much point to play them nowadays, they are already too oldskool to my taste to be enjoyable anymore. But I still wouldn't bitch to GOG for releasing them, just because I personally don't necessarily enjoy them anymore.

Anyway, I hope GOG releases more new games. They don't have to be brand-new, a few years old is fine. Jade Empire was a good release IMHO.

Naturally, different strokes for different folks. The good, newer titles don't interest me, but if they will sell well, GOG will release them. I'm here for the good old games, as I say often. (Now, I am in favor of good games being released if GOG can only get crappy old ones, lol)

Since Christmas, I've been blown away by the EA expansions release (though we're still missing the Bullfrog ones, hint hint), Leisure Suit Larry (because I totally thought GOG was just screwing with us :P), another batch of EA releases like Magic Carpet 2 and Syndicate Wars (although, unfortunately, I'm not sure how well those are selling), System Shock 2 of course, Omikron, Wizardry, and probably a few others.

My thing here is, I'm personally hoping that G-Doc isn't just hyping an upcoming sale. People will be excited and happy about that, but is that something that needs to be built up or hyped? (aside from making sure people stock up on cash ahead of time :P)

EDIT: When GOG clears the major wishlist items until only the ones with ~100-200 votes remain, they have my permission to focus only on new titles. ;-)

Prediction: GOG has pulled off the ultimate hat-trick, signing Disney, Microsoft and Take-Two. The summer sale will be entirely comprised of releases from those companies debuting at 50% off.

Prediction: GOG has signed with GSC Game World. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. confirmed!

We have GSC here:

STALKER has quite a few votes (and seems to be a relatively good game), so I'm surprised GOG hasn't brought it yet.

Well, I wouldn't say "epic"...

But if we already have GSC, that only supports my theory, doesn't it?
