MobiusArcher: The department stores by me all sell Magic, and Yu-gi-oh, and nothing much else. I always assumed that Yu-gi-oh would die out pretty fast, but It hasn't. In fact, there are always more Yu-gi-oh cards for sale than Magic. Department stores only cater to the biggest audiences though, and there are not good comic shops near me, so I have no idea what other games would be in the list.
Yeah so safe to say

1. Yu gi oh
2. Magic The Gathering...
This a little off topic and may come off as trollish but fuck it. When I worked in a bookstore in St. Louis Pokémon was at it's height and we sold the cards, and seeing the shit parents would do to get their kids the cards did A LOT to drive me away from having anything but contempt for them. Imagine adults, parents, with their kids in tow, shoving people out of the way screaming profanity and threats of physical violence just to get their hands on one small package.

My favorite was this kid, 9 maybe 10, comes in and ask me if we have any Pokémon cards.
"No." I tell him. "We're all sold out."
The kids throws his arms up in the air and shouts at the top of his lungs, "MAN! Everything happens to me!!!"
That was my first day back after spending he previous six months going through chemo therapy. I laugh about it now but I almost killed the little bastard when it happened.

That is what I call Righteous Trolling. :) Because I think it is clear what kind of human being someone is if he or she shoves people out of the way and screams for Pokemon cards... Not for life saving medicine, not to get to the emergency room, not for some water after walking through the desert for 2 days, not to get to the bathroom because diarrhea is about to explode out of his or her ass but for Pokemon cards...

Elmofongo: Man....I remember the days when Yu-Gi-Oh was all the rage :\
Yeah, also had some of them, although only for the sake of collecting them, cuz I hardly knew anyone who played the game :D
Also had some Duel Masters Cards, if I remember correctly....

Your post reminds me of when I was younger working someplace. I would troll customers who behaved too entitled. Like they could snap their fingers and get anything they want even though reality says no kind of entitled. Like a kid demanding that his poor parents buy him an XBOX ONE + all the games out for it for Christmas etc. OR parents who expect their children to be doctors or lawyers so they can mooch off em during old age. They wouldn't accept my polite answer telling them what they are looking for is sold out or not sold here etc.. And demand, I go find exactly what they are looking for in the store, expecting me to be like Sherlock Holmes or something like that and search the store inch by inch. I trolled them by saying "okay" then disappearing until they left the store. After you work at some kind of a store, you see how disgusting a lot of people are. You see that not only children can spoiled little brats nowadays but people all ages.
