which mods are actually the "best" or helpful? Just start today B&W DLC ... and want to add some mods. :)

You want to add some mods... why? Just for the sake of adding mods? They're not needed. Just play the game.

I use some utility mods:
Autoloot (you know why if you've played this game for more than the prologue)
Oils never expire (cause nothing kills game pacing quite like pausing game every 20 hits and dragging the oil phial onto your sword)
Better icons (ones that include short names of oils/potions/bombs of the icon itself)
Refill alcohol (so meditation uses the alcohol you have the most of in inventory instead of random one which most of the times is something useful you've been saving for alchemy)
Colored map markers (they look neat and are easier to read)
Show real value (shows what base value of item and what percent of it is the price vendor asks/gives)
Also one mod that i forgot the name of that shows all quest objectives of active quests as different icons on the ma screen and allows to quickly switch tracked quest by clicking them, very nifty. (can lookup name if you want to.)
