I'm sure this has been asked a million times already, but for some reason the search function on GOG Galaxy doesn't function for me. So, apologies.

Anyway, since release, I have had the problem of the game just randomly freezing up on me. It can be during actual gameplay, or during conversation with an NPC. The screen itself will just freeze, but I can still hear noise in the background as if the game is still playing (NPC's still talking, ambient noises, etc.). The only way for me to remedy is to alt + tab out and manually close the game.

Anyone know any solutions to this? I keep waiting for a patch to come along and fix the issue, and thus far, none of them have. It's getting extremely irritating having to auto-save every few minutes because I'm terrified of losing my progress.

I've set the FPS limit to unlimited, as I've ready other places that people experiencing freezing have had luck using this method - but then my video card starts getting crazy hot! The only thing I've found that works is restricting the FPS to 30, which is way too slow for my liking. I currently have it restricted to 45, which works for me, but then I have to deal with the random crashes.

GTX 760 (OC'd, though I did decrease the OC a TON, almost to normal card speeds, in the hopes of fixing problem - nada)

First of all. It does really freeze or it just looses focus? Because sometime the setting can switch from full screen to borderless windows and sometimes the game looses focus in this mode.
Try check that.

Second, I solved all my freezing problems by enabling the page file on the disc were the game is installed.
