DukeRoma410 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Japanese: メタルギアソリッドV ザ・ファントム・ペイン Hepburn: Metaru Gia Soriddo Faibu Za Fantomu Pein?) is an upcoming open world action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and directed, co-produced and co-written by Hideo Kojima, currently in development for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game will serve as a continuation of the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and will carry over the same tagline of Tactical Espionage Operations first used in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Hakuso3 Been down to $10 on Steam, still haven't bought, thanks to third party DRM. Doesn't matter it was cracked ages ago, they refuse to patch out the third party DRM, so getting it without even Steam attached seems like a pipe dream.
Still, I'd grab it in a heartbeat here if it did happen.

yumyalls ^After what Konami is pulling cross the board with their employees and consumers it's not going to be a big loss if we just wait for the console versions used in the bargain bin instead of supporting them now. The future of the MGS series will sadly be microtransacton fests and pachinko machines under konami's current management.
Yaywalter Probably not gonna happen... Konami is already antsy enough about recouping MGSVs high development costs, there's no way they'd be brave enough to allow a DRM-free release.

flashn00b Might not happen because Metal Gear Solid V will launch with an updated Metal Gear Online, and in this day and age, DRM seems to be necessary for providing an online component.
Shadowstalker16 Maybe they want the game's platform to be as dark and gritty as the game itself. In that case, Steam only makes perfect sense. I can almost taste the 40+GB download..............just do a version WITH encoded audio so people with 4+ cores don't have to wait 40 days for it to download, please.
