A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend DRM-free), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.

Heldengeisst Sadly out of all the game that will probably never come to GoG or be made available by EA in their original form, it's the Need for Speed series that will never come to GoG the most. I'm lucky enough to own the retail release, but discs don't last forever.

EA wants to make money, and from what I can see, is a lot of people are willing to buy the game again. I've bought the game like 3 times already, but i want a digital version. Preferably via GoG.
shiborgi I mean, I was just searching through the net if I can find a place where I can buy it, but so far the only option is to download it from a torrent site and use a crack... there are also tons of people online wishing the could buy it, since it's the best in the series, imo as well. Please GOG, make us all happy, I promise I'll continue to be good throughout the next year. Make it as a Christmas present.

sadINict I owned this and was installed on a dragon motherboard with nvidia video and 512 megs of ram and it melted my video card.
WallenP I actually bought 2 copies of this game, one to use and one as back-up as i really loved playing it. Cracked it too to keep the CD fresh & clean. But that seems to be a bad idea as after a while the game becomes corrupted and become unplayable (maybe because of OS updates) requiring reinstall. As i've said, i have two copies, but i will still buy another if it becomes a GOG item.

e-ahmet Oh my god! Some time ago I got Need for Speed Most Wanted for free from Origin from their On the House service. Today I installed it thinking back to the days I've played it, trying to remember the awesome movie-like cutscene with the cop and the first race where they steal your car.
I loaded up the game. Hmm. This doesn't feel right. Noooo! This is not MW! This is some other game. Then I realized it was a newer version, a reboot so to speak. I want the 2005 version and Origin doesn't have it :(
sebastianlacuest At least all of the need for speed with all versions up to the old most wanted (~2005). Those are the versions not available from Origin. The more you can offer, the better.

NHDA1991 This along with other NFS games (Hot Pursuit 1, 2, Underground 1,2, Carbon...) are my most wanted games right now! They are no where to be found in digital format (even on Origin :( ), consider that EA has now released some newer games on GOG (Dead Space, Dragon Age), my hope just got rise up. Please let this be real!
