user avatar@shivooooooOh man, it so cool game. The design, the art, the character, just one post on the internet and thousands of people remembered how good it was. This needs to be republished so more people can enjoy it.
Paladins

user avatar@MFenix117I love shooters, and I think there is none like Paladins, with a variety of maps, champions and customization, it's a shame that they have stopped its development, it would be great to be able to keep it.
Star Trek: Klingon Academy
Star Trek: Klingon Academy
user avatar@crichton101I adore this game so much. Especially the feature where you could create battle scenarios. Being able to take on the Reliant as the Enterprise, or vice versa, having full-on Klingon v Federation battles, or with Romulans. And that Gameplay was fantastic. It's actual battle damage during battles was and still one of the best things I've ever seen and I've seen few games ever really capture that same level of detail.
MechCommander 2

user avatar@kujospamI played this game so much when I was a teen. I would play it a ton more. I was really hoping the battletech games that came out where going to be like this. Sadly I like these games better.
Killzone Trilogy

user avatar@suidaanThis game is my childhood, visual and sound design are melted in to my brainstem. Iconic helghast look of space fascist created a tone for sci-fi dictatorship in military shooters. This game never deserved to be abandoned, it is classic trilogy.

user avatar@NullKore35I've never got to play this game but I absolutely loved SPORE. When I was a kid I drooled over the game but I wasn't ever able to buy it because I couldn't pay stuff online. I would love to experience it, with all its flaws and imperfections as many have stated, to fulfill one of my childhood wishes and dwell into the spooky spooks dark side of SPORE

user avatar@MarlowNightsNeopets: The Darkest Faerie was my childhood and one of my favorites. I remember always playing it constantly all the time back when it was first released. I love the story and the characters, especially the main protagonists (Tormund and Roberta).

No Rest for the Wicked
No Rest for the Wicked
user avatar@april_the_cowgirlThis game is far from finished, but it is one of the best handcrafted games I've played in many years. Everything in the environment is intentionally placed, not procedurally generated. The game looks like a painting, and the combat is very satisfying (even in its very rudimentary state). Do not buy this game expecting a finished experience. Wait for 1.0 release if that's what you desire. The devs are still hard at work, but experienced update delays due to their OG publisher selling off all their assets (minus wicked, which stayed under Take Two, and appears to be self published now). This game has an amazing future ahead of it, and I'd love to have it DRM free, forever, so that I can play it when I'm old, and share the experience with my children when they are adults as well.
Clive Barker's Jericho: Special Edition

user avatar@HemahGloSo sad to see this game is forgotten... Why there so few votes? I hope this game will take a place in GOG. But with those number it almost impossible. This is a great horror shooter. Absolute unique (may be like FEAR). It's a real gem in the genre. With dark, gory atmosphere. Interesting heroes to play. Absolute cinema!
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
user avatar@nemesisx00The story is fantastically campy, and full of fun time travel shenanigans. This was the first game where I found myself helping myself to help myself while helping myself, all at the same time! This is a gem that deserves to be preserved for posterity. Time to split!
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
user avatar@euroYou have to remember how long ago this was. 2005. Yet this game had freedom, building destruction, stealth and superb action elements. It's like GTA, but with a hard focus on destruction and it was so incredibly fun playing this. It was novel too, being able to play as a young female Chinese operative or even a Swedish mercenary. I would adore having access to this game again, as it's really really underserved. I never understood why Mercenaries wasn't more popular. It was fun picking up VIPs, knocking out guards and just feeling FREE to do things. Features such as being able to order airstrikes and all kinds of vehicles, wasn't even very common in games back then, if memory serves. But look now at the latest Metal Gear Solid game for example, where such features are a mainstay. What more could you want in a 2005 game? It really WAS a Playground of Destruction!
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
user avatar@TrantaLockedRemastered is aesthetically different enough that it shouldn't be considered preservation of the original game. We deserve reasonable access to the original Dark Souls on PC.

user avatar@lordwifi1423_8581I love games where you can and are even outright endorsed to be evil, but you can choose to be good and kind to others. The story is easy to understand, the characters are perfect and the soundtrack is good too. What I love about this game is voice acting and I hope it will only get better from here. So yeah, I think this game is worth to play and if you like visual novels it's even better.
Balatro
Balatro
user avatar@jorg11It's not old, but already a classic. A fun, infinitely replayable take on poker. It really is one of those desert island games that I always find myself going back to, and I like to have a DRM-free version of those type of games on GOG.

user avatar@Thumper2002I use to play it all the time on gamecube when I was alot younger, using cheat codes and skipping levels with god mode. it might not the best turok game but it still deserves to be remembered
Terranigma
Terranigma
user avatar@Michael_CorayTerranigma is among the most outstanding SNES titles of all time. What impresses me the most about it is that it was clearly built on a thematic bedrock. Every decision made by the developers stemmed from an unmistakable central vision, which is mirrored and strengthened everywhere. Every detail feels lovingly handcrafted, and all of it is created in service to that foundational motif, that bedrock that grounds every aspect of the game into just the most beautiful message on Earth. That said, articulating what this game is really about is really difficult. The developers used the term "duality" to describe it, but I honestly feel like it goes so much deeper than that. This game sets out to help the player understand the beauty and sanctity of life and enables you to gain an appreciation for your own unique life experiences. It does this from the perspective of the planet itself, giving an absolutely unique view of humanity for this era of gaming. Terranigma communicates its message through a feeling, through abstraction that speaks to the emotions rather than the intellect. It does this through quiet and subtle means—things like the consequence of player choices and well-constructed symbolism that contains incredible depth. Terranigma's soul exists in the feeling generated by these contemplative moments and the lovely soundtrack that accompanies them. This game makes me laugh, it gives me rushes of nostalgia for the time of my childhood, it's exciting and fun to play—very well designed—but it also makes me tear up when the credits roll, generating a deep sense of sadness and finality that are difficult to shake. It's a game that leaves a lasting impression and stands as one of my favorites of all time. While there may not be many who have recognized the efforts of the brilliant developers at Quintet, I want to give them my recognition now, and thank them for such a remarkably crafted work of art. If you haven't played Terranigma, I could not recommend it more.
Anno 1800
Anno 1800
user avatar@gumbasticI've played and loved other Anno games -- particularly 1701 and 1404 -- but refuse to buy 1800 with Denuvo, Ubisoft launcher account requirement, and always-online requirement for a single-player game. I'm resisting the current 90% discounted $5.99 Steam price for all those reasons. A clean Anno 1800 on GOG would be an insta-buy.

user avatar@th3missileIn Computerbild Spiele 2/2000 it became game of the month (test result 1.49). A complete solution was published in Computerbild Spiele 3/2000. And Thandor is included on the CD in the magazine 6/2001 I played with my brother a lot.
Civilization: Call to Power
Civilization: Call to Power
user avatar@luiscorujoThis game presented some new philosophical and political concepts that are now paradigmatic. These have not appeared in later civilization -like games: ecotopia, corporate republic, technocracy, virtual democracy. Also, the possibility to use space tiles, the timespan into 3000AD are significant elements at the time. Furthermore, the game brought a spectacular critic to our society, almost providing clues (25 years in advance) to major trends in the current world. These are simbolizem by units such as the lawyer, the corporate branch, the ele-evangelist, athe infector, the eco-terrorist, the eco ranger, and the obnoxious subneural ad

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
The year is 864 and Tiber Septim has begun his crusade to establish an empire in Tamriel, conquering all who stand in his wake. Though the Redguards of Hammerfell put up a valiant fight, they eventually crumbled to internal mutiny and the might of the Septim forces. Now under Imperial control, the Redguards are kept in line by the oppressive rule of Septim’s retainer, Amiel Richton. It is within this setting that Cyrus, a Redguard mercenary that has travelled Tamriel for over a decade, begins his adventure. Investigating the disappearance of his sister, Iszara, Cyrus is brought back to Hammerfell and thrown into the political intrigue that besets Hammerfell and its inhabitants. In his search for his sister, he must also play his part in this war between the Crowns and the Forebears.Set 400 years prior to the events of The Elder Scrolls: Arena, Redguard contrasts with the other games in many ways. As a third-person action-adventure game, it removes its RPG gloves and instead focuses on bringing you on an immersive journey through the eyes of Cyrus. If you’ve wanted to try the Elder Scrolls series, but haven’t quite enjoyed the RPG elements such as character building and customisation, this is definitely the game for you. But, despite taking a different path, this addition still contains many of the elements that the Elder Scrolls series is renowned for: a vast world, lore-laden narrative and compelling characters. So, whether you’re a native or a newcomer to Tamriel, this swashbuckling adventure will keep you captivated to the very end.Thrilling adventure rich with lore, dialogue, backstory and atmosphereExplore the Island of Stros M’kai, from the darkest catacombs to the highest towersNon-linear story progression, allowing you to explore the world at your own pacePut your wits to the test by solving puzzles and uncovering the mystery of Iszara’s disappearanceVotes: 5681

Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok
Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok
Explore the rich world of Nordic mythology! Egther, last of the Frost Giants, has sworn to turn all the world to ice. A young heroine is called to fight him, but first she must survive the harsh environment, battle hostile trolls, and deal with many creatures and characters from the classic myths.Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok is an adventure / RPG hybrid. Like in many adventure games, you have a world to save, and must use your wit, guile and inventory to puzzle your way through. Like in many roleplaying games, you can customize your character with various classes and skills, and must train yourself in combat to stand a chance against the fierce monsters in your way. Each class has her own solution to the numerous obstacles, where the warrior is the most straightforward to play, the sorceress focuses on smart solutions and finding the right spell for the situation, and the rogue cheats her way through life without getting caught. The game is designed in the spirit and atmosphere of the classics, and strives to have the same high quality of art, music, and plot. With multiple character classes and several solutions to many puzzles, there are plenty of options for further replayability. The game has been voted voted 69th All-Time Best Computer RPG by RpgCodex. It is available completely for free, or as we like to call it, priceless."It's great to see a female-centric heroic quest." - Corey Cole"The very definition of a labor of love ... makes the world of Jarnvidr feel alive to a degree rarely seen in point and click adventure games." - HardcodeGaming101"I was still discovering new quests and things to do even on a third playthrough." - Last TokenVotes: 1236

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dream list with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
