It contains Decathlete, Winter Heat and Virtua Athlete 2K, all sporting improved graphics and other minor adjustments. It's missing some features, such as the ability to create characters and the internet features of Virtua Athelete 2K, but it adds more computer players to Decathlete and changes some camera angles.

Also included is Fantasy Zone Neo Classic which is an updated port of the Famicom version of Fantasy Zone, and Fantasy Zone II DX - a remastered version of Fantasy Zone II to look and feel as if it were running on Sega System 16 hardware.

SEGA AGES 2500 Vol.13: OutRunOutRun is an upgrade of the 1986 arcade release of OutRun, presented entirely in 3D. Whereas the "original" mode is almost identical to the arcade game (with an option to switch between the slightly different Japanese and overseas courses), an "arrange" mode offers an entirely new course, rival cars and more mountainous terrain to take advantage of the 3D visuals. Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 29: Monster World Complete CollectionThis game is a compilation featuring a selection of Wonder Boy games, namely those released on Sega platforms. Though there are only six games in the series, various ports and international releases are included, bringing the total number of releases included to 16. Also included are artwork galleries, instruction manuals and Japanese/overseas variants (bar the English version of Wonder Boy in Monster Land). With the exception of both versions of Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Monster World IV all of the versions of the games included are playable in English or have a separate English release included for the same console (for example, the Game Gear releases and Wonder Boy in Monster World's Mega Drive release).
Interestingly, the Sega Master System version of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap is included in this collection, despite never being released in Japan.
