I'm more familiar with Bushido Blade 2. I had a friend who introduced me to a couple PS1 games. This was among those I kept enjoying. Bushido Blade 2 I actually played before the original. You get a campaign that has different final bosses to a degree. You also get a mode to defeat a lot of enemies in one setting. It's a more realistic weapon based fighting game. I could argue it rivaling Soul Edge which I also had on the same system. The stages are mind blowing well designed. The audio as a whole always stuck with me for years. Easily among the best fighting games on the system. You get a great roster of characters. To me this was better than the original Bushido Blade. It's a shame Square Enix never released this franchise. I know a lot of people that absolutely would love this!!!

This was one of the best sword-fighting games ever created. Outstanding character roster, great fighting mechanics and its replay value is absolutely priceless.

The Black Heart
The Black HeartThere is another world apart from ours. A world that was once beautiful but now is a hostile place ruined by war and hate. A blood stained world... Humans have ignored the existence of this other world because their destinies have never been bound to it... But that is about to change since the king and creator of the other world has been murdered. His strength and will had disappeared as the time passed, turning him into and old and defenseless being. However, that didn't change the fact that within him the incredible power that allowed him to create that other world still existed. Because of that he was attacked by an entity called Final: A powerful creature that emerged from the infinite chaos that exists in the space between both worlds. In a single attack he ripped the king's heart and ran away with it to the depths of chaos. It is said that the one that succeeds at freeing the power within the heart will be given an extraordinary strength; a power that could end all that exists if it falls into the wrong hands.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-ZeroMortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero is a story-driven fighting game that casts you in the shoes of Sub-Zero, and chronicles a series of events that occurred prior to Mortal Kombat 1. It is the first Mortal Kombat game to feature side-scrolling gameplay. Gameplay wise the game takes the Mortal Kombat familiar 2D fighting environment and turns it into a hybrid fighter/platformer game, where you must travel trough hazardous levels running and jumping around as well as fighting your way against both digitized and polygonal enemies. Sub-Zero's interface is the same as in every MK game, with the addition of a "use" and "turn around" buttons and additions such as an inventory, and a slight RPG twist in which you get exp. for defeating opponents, which translates into new techniques and moves to execute in the game.
