Symphony of the night was the Castlevania game which took me back to the series. The soundtrack, the artwork, the characters, everything in this game is wonderful. Please GOG, bring CSoTN backkkkkk!
It should be a crime not having this game officialy on PC. This is an all time masterpiece that should be preserved and played for eternity. My neighbor inteoduced me this game and I found it too difficult at the time but I kept pushing forward and eventually I found the second castle and holy smoke, I didn't know videogames could do that! It was not just videogame anymore, it was something else, I entered someone's else dream and mixed it my own dream. Alucard was not just a dampire, but was a detective, and I was leading the investigation and beating every single one of those castle walls.

In the long list of ps 1 and sony exclusives, to me Sotn ranks at the top of the list. A PC port of this game is something I´ve wanted, for almost 15 years by now. Plus let´s be honest, it holds the title of best Castlevania for a reason, fantastic music, slightly breakable but enjoyable rpg elements and a caslte filled to the brimm with secrets and pixelart that still holds the test of time.
"What is a Man? A miserable pile of Secrets! But enough talk! Have at you!" My goodness is this a game. THE game that redefined platformers and is known as the "-vania" in the "metroidvania" subgenre of video games. It is essentially a sequel to the PCE game Rondo Of Blood (which we NEED on GOG in the worst way) and what a sequel it is. Tons and tons of weapons and items to collect, including the legendary Heaven Sword (get two of em!). The amount of effort put into this game is astounding. The graphics are beautiful and Symphony of the Night has one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, so much so that over the years symphony orchestras have played renditions of the songs. But what made this game so special was how it just transported the player to Castlevania itself. You really FEEL like you are there, fighting as Alucard and searching for Richter Belmont and your dreaded father. This game started a whole new world of video games and there will never be another like it. In fact, the only game of its kind that may rival it in gameplay is, ironically, its predecessor, Rondo Of Blood. One of the 50 games you need to play before you die.

Honestly, for me this game is 10/10. I love everything about it. I'll never forget my cousin getting dropped off to hang out with my friends and I and bringing this with him when it first came out. We all spent the entire night playing, exploring, and hunting specific gear and secrets. If this were to get ported to GoG, I beg BEG that it be the original, and not the psp/vita port. We want the original sound effects and voice overs, which were a part of what made the game so great.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a must for any Konami or Castlevania fans' collections. It's among the greatest Castlevania games. Even excluding Richter Mode, it's so packed with content. You are going to be spending hours exploring. There's plenty of secrets to discover. This also made Alucard a popular character within the franchise. It's easily the greatest PS1 vampire game ever made!!! You get a lot more than you possibly could expect. This is more forgiving than classic style Castlevania games. GOG has plenty of metroidvania games. At the same time, this would open a door that can't be closed as soon as this gets on there. I already know a lot of people would buy the hell out of this game. Symphony of the Night has some notable releases over the years. I'm the most familiar with it's Xbox 360 port myself. This also a great entry point for the franchise as well. The soundtrack absolutely amazing with great sound effects.
The second Castlevania game I completed, and an absolute classic. I may prefer Aria of Sorrow, but Symphony of the Night is still a solid game that holds up with gorgeous pixel art, soundtrack and great atmosphere, and for that reason it should be officially available on PC.

It was one of the best games ever produced by Konami. I discovered this game when I was about 12 or 13 years old, when I was playing video games with my uncle. I remember that at the time my uncle had a PS1 console, with several games purchased, including this "Castlevania - Symphony of the Night". I can say that it was love at first sight, because it was this Castlevania that introduced me to the Metroidvania genre that I love so much to this day! Here we have at our disposal a wide variety of items and enemies. And as in every Metroidvania, exploration is very important: to progress in the game and reach the maximum exploration percentage and get the best ending in the dhampir Alucard's campaign, it is necessary to acquire specific skills, items and relics to revisit many areas of the map that were previously inaccessible, or even discover unimaginable passages and secrets. I believe that GOG, as one of the best game stores, which offers offline installers, is the ideal place for this game to be immortalized. P.S.: If possible, bring the port of the game for PSP, the same one that was used to make the mobile version and Castlevania - Requiem, as it is more complete in terms of content, since it contains the two extra familiars (Nose Devil and Pixie) and Maria Renard as a playable character.

I was convinced to play this game by my Kung-fu teacher. I regret to this day not having played this game when it was released. Even so, it remains a very current game. I would really like to have a version of PC.

One of the best games I've ever played. The first metroidvania you never forget. I played it during my teenage years and was blown away by the story, character design, dark atmosphere, fantastic soundtrack and exploration and RPG mechanics present in this game. I would VERY much like to see this game on GOG and with the extra elements present in the Sega Saturn version of the game, but knowing Konami, it will probably be a port of the Android version which is based on the PS1 one, with only the extra of Maria's new version (I honestly prefer her Saturn version more).
Those games also need your vote!
Endless Legend
Endless LegendAnother sunrise, another day of toil. Food must be grown, industries built, science and magic advanced, and wealth collected. Urgency drives these simple efforts, however, for your planet holds a history of unexplained apocalypse, and the winter you just survived was the worst on record. A fact that has also been true for the previous five. As you discover the lost secrets of your world and the mysteries of the legends and ruins that exist as much in reality as in rumor, you will come to see that you are not alone. Other peoples also struggle to survive, to grow, and perhaps even to conquer. You have a city, a loyal populace, and a few troops; your power and magic should be sufficient to keep them alive. But beyond that, nothing is certain… Where will you go, what will you find, and how will you react? Will your trail be one of roses, or of blood?

Hydlide II: Shine of Darkness
Hydlide II: Shine of DarknessHydlide II: Shine Of Darkness is an action RPG, and the second installment in the Hydlide series. In a different space a wonderful world existed, called Fairy Land, which was dominated by swords and magic after the times of domination by monsters and evil had ended. The people of Fairy Land were intoxicated with peace. At that time an incident occurred. A Consciousness filled with evil awoke and it created new monsters, brought the dead back to life, and wanted to dominate Fairy Land again. The monks were one of the first who noticed this and warned the people about it but they didn't listen and left the monks disappointed. The monks prayed to God and asked Him if there was a Savior. God, impressed by the monks prayers warped the space-time of Fairy Land with the human world and selected an innocent boy who lived there. The player controls the innocent boy, who must roam the lands of Fairy Land and free it from evil. The player has to create a character before beginning the quest, customizing his parameters - life, strength, and magic. As in the previous game, the player slays enemies by "bumping" into them or using magical spells. It is possible to change between attacking and defensive stances on the fly. The hero can become stronger and gain additional powers. In the villages there are shops where the protagonist can buy and sell weapons, armor, and items.

L.A. Noire
L.A. NoireL.A. Noire is a neo-noir detective action-adventure video game developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games. It was initially released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on 17 May 2011; a Microsoft Windows port was later released on 8 November 2011. L.A. Noire is set in Los Angeles in 1947 and challenges the player, controlling a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer, to solve a range of cases across five divisions. Players must investigate crime scenes for clues, follow up leads, and interrogate suspects, and the player's success at these activities will impact how much of each case's story is revealed. The game draws heavily from both the plot and aesthetic elements of film noir—stylistic films made popular in the 1940s and 1950s that share similar visual styles and themes, including crime and moral ambiguity—along with drawing inspiration from real-life crimes for its in-game cases, based upon what was reported by the Los Angeles media in 1947. The game uses a distinctive colour palette, but in homage to film noir it includes the option to play the game in black and white. Various plot elements reference the major themes of detective and mobster stories such as The Naked City, Chinatown, The Untouchables, The Black Dahlia, and L.A. Confidential.
