Techland made a very good shooter. It reminds me a little Unreal 2, but I think this is way more better. I like old FPS games like, eg. Unreal, Quake, Doom and Chrome is a game which I would like to see on GOG too someday :D

Pretty good game. What makes this game in particular so special to me unlike most of the obscure FPSs from the 1990s and 2000s is that its environments are just so good. While I'm not sure if this was a selling point for the game or if this was how the game was marketed as back in the day as I was too young when it was released, there's something about this game's environments that make them so wonderful and lively; each level puts you in beautiful environments that are also almost completely different from each other from level to level, making this game a wonderful environmental beauty showcase. If you're going to play it, you'll need to use an external tool to cap the frame rate to 60 FPS since the game was designed to be played at 60~ FPS, and higher FPS will make your movement feel as if you are sliding on the ground instead of walking. FYI, this game was re-released in 2004 as Chrome: Gold Edition in the EU featuring all the previously released patches, and is known as Advanced Battlegrounds: The Future of Combat in NA. There's also a prequel released in 2005, titled Chrome: Specforce, which I recommend playing that first as its story is set before this one and tells you what happened before the main game's events occurred. Also for those unaware, there was going to be a sequel, Chrome 2, that was announced in 2006 that not only looked even more beautiful environmentally, but also looked technologically impressive for its time as well, but sadly it was never released and was put on hold soon after. All of the other separate games (Chrome: SpecForce, Chrome 2) and re-releases (Advanced Battlegrounds) are also available to vote on the GOG dreamlist. It's a shame that not a lot of games in general, much less FPS games, care about their environments like this game did. Yeah, I know about all of this info because that's how much I actually like this game in particular that makes it stand out for me compared to the other obscure FPSs released around its era.
Those games also need your vote!

Wolfenstein 3D
Wolfenstein 3DWolfenstein 3D is a first-person shooter presented with rudimentary 3D graphics and a follow-up to the top-down infiltration game Castle Wolfenstein. The game is broken up into levels, each of which is a flat plane divided into areas and rooms by a grid-based pattern of walls and doors, all of equal height. Each level is themed after Nazi bunkers and buildings. To finish a level, the player must traverse through the area to reach an elevator. Levels are grouped together into named episodes, with the final level focusing on a boss fight with a particularly difficult enemy. While traversing the levels, the player must fight Nazi guards and soldiers, dogs, and other enemies while managing supplies of ammunition and health. While later releases of the game included the Nocturnal Missions expansion, this initial release did not.
