I'll be a concise as possible, it's different from the rest of the series by being a reboot attempt, but it's still among my favourites, the definitive edition is the best version by a mile, although i've played my 150h on the original and still enjoyed my time with it, i hope the whole DMC franchise gets on GOG but this one most of all since is console exclusive. This game is overlooked for what it is so many people don't see the good aspects, i personally made my own combat guide a scowered for tips and tricks all over so i say that it is a fun and worthy experience to be had, the story might be odd in many ways but the gameplay is just enjoyable for so many little reasons

really fun game with nice enemy design and a lot of cool gamefeel stuff that not many other games really do. playing the original on steam is decent, but it still has the terrible flaws vanilla dmcdmc has, like coloured enemies locking you to one weapon colour, bosses being pretty squishy, and turbo not being an option. the story can only be described as so bad its good, not taking it seriously at all makes it hilarious. id really like to see definitive edition on pc, because it fixes a lot of annoying stuff dmcdmc has and also includes content that is exclusive to that game only that the rest of the franchise doesnt have, like must style mode or the mod-inspired gods must die difficulty. this game honestly rocks and its a shame its reputation is dragged thru the mud just because of its admittedly lame plot

I dont love this game but it is a fun game on its own without comparison to the original dmc ports, there's also one important thing. this definitive edition actually never made it to pc, only that old ps3 dmc: devil may cry port came in, this version has a lot of updates and bug fixes compared to the steam version and so this coming to PC would mean those that enjoy this game on pc, can actually get the full definitive edition which only exists on the consoles. So this definitive edition coming to PC would mean there would finally be a fully complete dmc: devil may cry game and would be the best place to play the game and keep the game.

This is among one of my favorite games in the Devil May Cry franchise. Although not a very good game story wise, it still is fun hacking and slashing through demons and bosses. It’s a good game but it’s a bad Devil May Cry. All the same, it’s still a fun game.

Best DMC in the franchise. After playing this game, I wonder how it's even possible that some players hate it. I love this game. I know it's a reboot and kind of trolls the other games, but I still love it.
While this reboot was definitely unnecessary and doesn't come close to the original Devil May Cry games, it's still a superb game within it's own rights thanks to it's spectacular combat, stunning visuals and crazy soundtrack. If anything, it's still better than Devil May Cry 2.

Undeservedly destroyed by the community reinterpretation of the cult Japanese series by British developers. The greatest example of aggressive meat slasher in a unique atmosphere of tension and chaos. DmC is not a masterpiece and does not claim to be 10/10 and peak in the franchise, but it is still a good hack'n slash with amazing gameplay. The combat system here is simple, maybe not brilliant, but varied enough for the player to start learning how to make unthinkable combinations in practice. Two pairs of weapons per angelic-devil essence of the Nephilim(s), several types of cannons, hooks. Dante (and Virgil) absorbed(s) almost all the gameplay elements from the classic quadrilogy, with the correction that they were reworked with the vision of the developers from Ninja Theory. But even here there are problems in the face of strange gameplay design decisions in the face of opponents, requiring the use of certain elements (weapons) during the mass slaughter, which can momentarily break the dynamics. One sloppy feast and you lose all your accumulated rating. Otherwise, I have no complaints about this aspect of the game. The visual style, locations, staging of cutscenes, characters and acting are great. The handwriting of the British is very similar to what the Japanese could produce after DMC 4. The main stumbling block is the simple plot that tells of Dante getting on track, remembering his lost past and fighting for his freedom and the freedom of people. Personally, I don't find it to be at all obtuse, the developers reveal the characters at the right pace, and the narrative works for the game and its levels. Even the most abrupt transitions have some justification, and that's great.
This reboot is a rather daring reinterpretation of the DMC universe, making some rather surprising changes that were quite criticized upon its release. And yet, although I really like the original DMCs (my favorites are 3 and 5), I really liked this reinterpretation of Ninja Theory. I recently replayed it. I still find this game very beautiful and quite creative in its artistic direction. Above all, the gameplay is quite fun and interesting, with the ability to juggle angelic and demonic weapons, not to mention the basic sword and firearms. A game that, in my opinion, is quite underrated.

Ever17: The Out of Infinity
Ever17: The Out of InfinityEver 17: The Out of Infinity is a visual novel video game developed by KID. It is the second entry in the Infinity series; it is preceded by Never 7: The End of Infinity, and followed by Remember 11: The Age of Infinity, 12Riven: The Psi-Climinal of Integral, and Code_18. From VNDB: "Ever17 is the tale of seven individuals who come to be trapped 153 feet within the underwater marine theme park, LeMU. During an apparently normal day at the park, a massive accident happens, placing almost half of the facility underwater. The path to the surface and the communication lines are cut off. In addition, LeMU is under constant assault by severe water pressure, limiting time to find a means of escape to 119 hours. Escape is not the only concern, however; many questions arise as to the legitimacy of the accident and whether or not those trapped there were brought there for a purpose."
