This game looked so bizarre that I had to try it, and I loved every minute of it. It might not be the biggest open world game, but for what it's trying to do, it feels huge and bizarre and amazing. It feels like we have endless fantasy games about elves and orks, but what about a game about sky-islands lit by neuron-stars and full of mushrooms growing on the remains of slain gods? It's wild, and it's very much the sort of game that should be on GOG. I keep checking to see if it will happen.
Dread Delusion is just really excellent. It's made for people who are interested in running around and looking at the world. It's like the cozy version of a hack n slash RPG. The combat is simplified because it isn't the focus of the game, though there are plenty of combat related items to gather up for people who would rather spend their time focusing on that. But you can do a total pacifist run if you feel like. Most of your deaths will come from falling off the map. Each area has two or three outcomes to choose from depending on your actions in the area and your dialog choices at the end of any quest. About halfway through the game you finally get your own airship and there are several customization options available, and you can even get equipment inside for doing alchemy and getting buffs and sleeping and stuff. Overall, it's a neat place to sink in to and just chill for a while.

Kirby's Epic Yarn
Kirby's Epic YarnWhile walking through Dream Land, Kirby discovers a tomato and decides to eat it. Yin-Yarn, the evil sorceror who possessed the tomato (revealed to be a Metamato), appears and magically banishes Kirby into Patch Land, a world completely made of fabric, via the sock carried around his neck. In Patch Land, Kirby's body transforms into yarn, rendering his power to inhale useless. Instead, Kirby is granted the ability to transform by the magic of the Metamato, which he uses to rescue a boy being attacked by a monster. The boy, named Prince Fluff, explains that Yin-Yarn has separated Patch Land into pieces, which was tied together by magic yarn. Kirby decides to help Prince Fluff collect all seven pieces of the yarn and restore Patch Land. Meanwhile, Yin-Yarn captures King Dedede and Meta Knight and places them under his control. Kirby is forced to fight Dedede and Meta Knight after they ambush him in Patch Land. When Kirby and Prince Fluff finally collect all the Magic Yarn, Meta Knight, no longer under the sorceror's influence, informs Kirby that Yin-Yarn is turning Dream Land into fabric. Prince Fluff produces the second sock, its magic fully restored, and uses it to transport Kirby and himself to Dream Land; now completely made of yarn. Kirby confronts and defeats Yin-Yarn, breaking the spell and returning Dream Land and himself back to normal. Prince Fluff parts with Kirby, stating that he can visit Patch Land anytime via Yin-Yarn's magic sock.
