This needs to be dragged from the greasy fingers of Randel S. Pitchford III, it is a part of gaming history and deserves to be preserved, it isn't much but it was our first introduction to the Duke and lets not let Duke Nukem Forever be the last thing the character is remembered for.
The very first game that started a legend that would be known as Duke Nukem. Sure Duke 3D was a game changer that made the character recognizable by many, but the first Duke Nukem game is just as important since it is part of the main series. Duke shows off his one-man army capabilities for the first time against the evil Dr. Proton and his techbot army in this simple easy-to-play 2D side-scroller shooter. I especially found it hilarious how Proton would communicate with Duke via TV screens throughout the game. The levels allow for full exploration to find keys, powerups, and other secrets that can rack up big points for the high score like collecting the red balloons. Duke's legacy deserves to be forever preserved for future generations of gamers to enjoy and learn about the history why Duke was, and always will be a true king in gaming.
OG Duke Nukem was a very cool platformer, with large levels to explore, densely packed with secrets and traps. While not the most sophisticated, it was a blast to play and while I have it already here, I find extremely narrow-minded, unjust and unfair that Randy had Duke removed from pretty much everywhere but steam and gatekept the remasters of Duke 1 & 2 for the Evercade.
Duke deserves his spot on GOG back, keeping him out of here is plain absurd.
I could play a remaster of this game for Evercade consoles. I really enjoyed it and wish my friends could play it too, even if they don't have a niche console.
It's a bit of a different vibe to Duke Nukem 3D or Forever. It's very plastic and it's meant to be. And at the same time it's pleasantly playable even today.
ActRaiser 2ActRaiser 2 is a side-scrolling platform game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Quintet and published by Enix in 1993.
The game is a sequel to the original ActRaiser, but the storyline is not directly connected to its predecessor; however, many plot details suggest that ActRaiser 2 may actually be set before the events of the original ActRaiser, or takes place in another universe entirely. Otherwise, the given story draws concepts from the famous religious epics Paradise Lost and the Divine Comedy.

Army Men: Mobile OpsThe main focus of Army Men Mobile Ops is to complete missions by destroying objects, killing enemies, collecting intel from enemy areas, and more. Each type of soldier provides different stats and weaponry. The arena of combat is decently unique. Being soldiers, these hardened plastic paratroopers fight it out on a kitchen table, playroom, hallway, and bathroom, each battlefield littered with household debris that makes for useful cover, or just as obstacles. Crates are at many areas around those battlefields destroy one, and your men may find ammo, medical kits, and others. Crates also can be kicked open to save ammo.New Action Comedy

Resident Evil 5Resident Evil 5 is the seventh video game in the Resident Evil series. It features similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4 utilizing the same over the shoulder view, but this time the environment plays a significant role. The player is now dependent on his partner more than in older games. When the partner's health bar drop down to 0, he will enter the dying stage where the health bar will flash red and gradually lower as he stays like this. Resident Evil 6Resident Evil 6 is the ninth video game installment in the Resident Evil series. It continues the struggle against zombies infected by the new highly virulent C-virus. The game uses the same over-the-shoulder view as Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, however with a new gameplay mechanic that allows players to slowly move while shoot. Players can select between three scenarios featuring multiple characters and intertwined storylines, and within these scenarios both stories and action cross paths. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the follow up to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It is the first prequel in the series, taking the series to the year 1964. The player takes the role as the series' original antagonist, Big Boss, then known as Naked Snake.
MGS3 is the first game in the series to take place in a jungle. This unique setting created an opportunity for new mechanics. The player can adapt to the environment by swapping Snake's camouflage, hunt animals and gather plants for food. This iteration in the series introduced a new feature in which the player must apply medicine and perform medical procedures on Snake if he is damaged in combat. Apart from the survival themed features, the controls and gameplay of the game are very similar to Metal Gear Solid 2. Like other Metal Gear games, the focus is on stealth, but the player can go through the entire game like a shooter if they choose to. Throughout the game Snake acquires weapons of all types; non-lethal firearms, handguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, shotguns, sub-machine guns, and explosives.
Metal Gear Solid 3 was the first game to implement the CQC (close quarters combat) system. CQC allowed Snake to beat enemies down to knock them out, or put them in a chokehold to knock them out, kill them, or and/or question them.
Metal Gear Solid 3's health system required the player to occasionally pause the game and treat Snake's ailments. When Snake is shot, there is a chance that the bullet didn't pass through him, requiring the player to use a knife to remove the bullet, apply disinfectant, apply styptic and bandage the wound. This was done through a submenu in the pause screen. Other ailments the player must treat Snake for include: leeches, broken bones, burns, cut, arrow/bolts/needles, stomach sickness, colds, and food/venom poisoning.
Adding to the survival elements of the game, Snake Eater lives up to its name by requiring the player to scavenge food for Snake. Under the life bar there is stamina bar. If Snake does not eat any food the bar depletes, causing various effects. When the stamina bar is low, the player's ability to aim is severely handicapped, Snake's hands will shake in the first person aiming mode. Just like real life, Snake's stomach can also rumble, enemy soldiers can hear this, and will be alerted to Snake's presence.Action Fantasy Historical Stealth Survival Drama

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival.
Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
