Sadly, the studio that made this gem closed down. I remember playing it and being enamored with the murder mystery story combined with a monster collectaton.
A bit rough on the edges, but had so much potential as an IP with a mix of creatures/yokais and 3rd person action combat. It deserves to be remembered.
I really like the story and combat style of this game I also remember they had some region locked monsters which were different for Japan and the UK version. Folklore was available only on ps3 and I’ve never completed the story so it would be great to immerse into that game once again
Never really had a chance to play that game, but i remember my girlfriend telling me about that game when we first met, once she tried to boot it on PS3 but gyro in controller was broken so we couldn't make it past the first fight. I really would love to play that game to understand what my gf was so passionate about.
