Story:G-Police is a 1997 combat flight simulator set in a hypothetical future where corporations lead space colonies. The player is Jeff Slater, a futuristic helicopter pilot who joins the G-Police to investigate his sister's death.

Psygnosis had a specialty for world building, giving games with a fairly straightforward idea a whole history.
G-Police looked great at the time and cutscenes blew other companies of the time out of the water. Gameplay is fun and it makes flying around and shooting down enemies compelling with a good story before Ace Combat had a chance to even think about doing it.
I only had the demo-version of this game, growing up.
But I fondly remember it being able to go all six axis movement in a sci-fi environment.
Arguably, it trained me for the Desert Combat Mod on Battlefireld 1942 some years later, where I was a master of the Harrier Jet xD
I've always wanted to try the full game, but never got around to it, or couldn't afford it.
Didn't help that I didn't understand much English back then.
I would love to see this game being enabled on modern systems and available for legal purchases.
G-Police had great, fun but very challenging combat & flying mechanics, with a interesting presented story, and fantastic FMV cutscenes doing wonderful world-building. It's a nice mix of arcade and flight-sim lite gameplay, in a futuristic Blade Runner inspired colony on Callisto, where gang wars and ultra-powerful corporations fight amongst themselves, with you trying to keep the peace!
G-Police came out on both PC and Playstation, so updating it for modern systems would be much easier compared to console only releases. It's abandonware, so it'd be right up GOG's alley for restoring it, thus allowing newer audiences to experience it.
Unlike the Weapons of Justice sequel, this one also came out on PC! It is truly a great game with unique cyberpunk atmosphere! This one belongs to GOG! I will definitely buy it.
G-Police was a mix of film noir and cyberpunk that made for an amazing atmosphere and to top it off? Cool as spaceships over the moons of Jupiter. I loved it on PS1 so I'd love to get the PC version.
One of the first PC games I played at my uncle's place way back then. Somehow managed to withstand my otherwise flaky memory and come back to my mind once in a while without being able to remember this game's title until I saw it just now in a "Beige PC Bounty Hunters" youtube video. Would love to play it again!
I hat the trial on a PCAction magazine back then, grafics and cinematics blew my childish mind, and i was so proud to get the full verison , maybe 2 years later, and a joystick to finally fly around without braking all my fingers.
cyberpunk setting and the german sync were superb. fkin great game i swear ;D almost 30 years later i would go and get a old joystick on ebay just to catch all the good memories ;D
I have very fond memories of playing this game with my friends in middle school, we used to have a contest where we'd play the campaign and the day after we'd tell how many missions we beat and how did we do the difficult ones. We'd get so hyped that I still remember mission 16 (the one where you faced a gunship for the first time), the plot twist mid-campaign, the mission where you'd get the Venom.
I remember my friends being aghast at how bad it played on my 166Mhz pentium-equivalent with some off-brand 3d capable video card boasting 2MB of memory! For those with money enough to buy it the game shipped with the fabled VooDoo2. But I blew their mind when a year later I bought a VooDoo 3 (!!) and was able to crank video quality to the max!

The game includes an official soundtrack and had a refined graphics engine, team and player customisation options, 16 stadiums, improved artificial intelligence and the popular "Road to World Cup" mode, with all 172 FIFA-registered national teams. No subsequent edition of the FIFA series had attempted to replicate FIFA 98's inclusion of every FIFA national team, up until 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil which included all 203 FIFA nations that took part in qualifying. With the new graphical improvements, players were able to have individual faces.
FIFA 98 even features many accurate team rosters, including national reserves for national call-up when playing in the round-robin qualification modes. In addition, eleven leagues were featured, containing 189 clubs. The game also featured a popular five-a-side indoor mode and was the first FIFA game to contain an in-game player/team editor.
For the first time in a FIFA game, the offside rule is properly implemented. In previous games, when a player was in an offside position doing anything except running, that player was penalised for offside even when the ball was passed backwards. The 32-bit version of FIFA 98 corrects this so that the game would only award a free kick for offside if the ball was passed roughly to where the player in the offside position was.

The Last of Us Part IIThe Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game set five years after the events of The Last of Us. The player traverses post-apocalyptic environments such as buildings and forests to advance the story. They can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. The game intermittently switches control between Ellie and Abby, and also briefly Joel in the opening sequence. FIFA 99FIFA 99 features an elite league called the "European Dream League" in which 20 top teams from across Europe battle it out in a league format. Die Hard ArcadeDie Hard Arcade is a beat 'em up for two players, who play as either John McClane or Chris Tompsen (Bruno Delinger and Cindy Holiday in the original Japanese version). Players fight their way through waves of enemies, using their fists, feet, and a variety of weapons that can be collected from enemies or the environment, from household items such as brooms and pepper shakers to high-damage missile launchers and anti-tank cannons. Most weapons are automatically lost at the end of each action scene, but hand guns can be retained so long as they have ammunition remaining. The typical level structure is a number of minions the player must defeat in many rooms, followed by a boss. Bosses can be anything from human minions of White Fang to spider robots. Quick Time Events are interspersed between many of the scenes. In these events, the player(s) may be running and turning a corner and they face an enemy, so they must perform a designated command to avoid being injured or to help defeat an enemy. In some cases failing a Quick Time Event will result in loss of health, as is usual for QTEs, but failing most will put the player characters into an additional action scene which they otherwise would not have to complete.
