(how does this like only have a few dozen votes!?) This is one of the best PS2 games, like ever, let alone one of the best racing games... Then there's the intro sequence; if you had the NTSC U/C version, you had Van Halen in your ears, and that was amazing...(still is)
Gran Turismo 4 is the last GT game that had a proper structured single player mode before monetization and corporate greed wreak havoc in the series. It represents the very best that Sony and Polyphony Digital can do when they think about how to satisfy the player base rather than investors. It's truly one (if not) the best representative of Top notch Sony at its best.
The game that made me fall in love with "realistic" driving games. The amount of content you got with the game is stunning in retrospect. Dozens of cars, tons of tracks, and blend of simulation and arcade that made the game both accessible and addictive. There is a clear progression in the career mode that felt gratifying, and the varying race styles encouraged owning multiple car types and builds. In addition the menus and music dripped with so much style that it left an indelible mark on my expectations of what a racing game should be.
This game is not only one of the best racing games, but one of the best video games ever made. It has an insane amount of content, especially for the time. Also it would be amazing to not only have this on PC but especially GOG to make sure this game never dies. This game really pushes the PS2 hard, which kills the console faster, especially at high settings. Also there are some issues playing the game on Emulators that sometimes can't fully provide the original experience. I have played this game off and on for years, it is one of my highest play lengths I have had in a game. I have probably clocked over 300 hours into Gran Turismo 4 and I would love to have this game on GOG with controller support. The content in this game and the incredibly rewarding gameplay is something that we really don't see anymore in video games, ESPECIALLY racing games! Today's racing games don't have the same amount of effort put into them as classic games like GT4 had. I think this game could easily sell for $20 as is with upscaling options, and easily $30-$40 for some kind of remaster. If this game ever got a good quality remaster it would be game changing!! The newer GT games are good I think but the events don't feel authentic like in GT4. GT4 also has a much longer and more challenging campaign. The racing and events are a very unique experience that you really can't find in today's games.
Those games also need your vote!

Midway Arcade Treasures 2
Midway Arcade Treasures 2Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is the second collection of classic arcade games published by Midway for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. This compilation includes 20 games that were not in the 2003 release of Midway Arcade Treasures or the 2005 release of Midway Arcade Treasures 3. The game plays similar on all three consoles, though the Xbox version has the exclusive ability to upload scores to an online scoreboard. The Xbox version, however, is not compatible with the Xbox 360. The special features on each version of the game are the same. These include game histories, developer interviews, and other documents.

1830: Railroads & Robber Barons
1830: Railroads & Robber Barons1830 is a railroad game set in the northeastern United States and southern Canada. You assume the identity of a railroad “Baron” and act as “President” of one or more Railroad Corporations. Your goal is to earn money. Money is earned mainly through owning shares of stock in the eight Railroad Corporations. Stock shares make money in two ways-they can provide ready cash via dividend payments, and they can increase in value. If you’re the single largest stockholder in a Railroad Corporation, you become its President and operate its railroad, ideally, but not necessarily, for the benefit of all stockholders. The game ends when either: 1. A Baron goes bankrupt; or 2. The Bank runs out of money. The winner is the wealthiest Baron at game end.
