The Halo series is one of my absolute favorite videos game series of all time. Even though growing up we weren't allowed to get the game as a kid because the game had 'blood' in it. When we did get the game, I absolutely loved the campaigns in the game and the multiplayer. I have since listened to a bunch of the audiobooks for the franchise as well.
Area 51Area 51 is the only action-packed 1st person shooter set in the U.S. governments most secret and secure military facility. The U.S. Army has received a distress signal from Area 51 where a viral outbreak has just shut down the research facility and the automated quarantine procedures have locked all scientific and military personnel inside. Metro 2033Metro 2033 is a first-person shooter with survival horror elements, based on the Russian book of the same name by Dmitry Glukhovsky. Game progression is fairly linear, though areas may be explored more thoroughly for items and ammunition. Setpieces include a few on-rails sequences, missions that involve defending a location from an onslaught of monsters, and others. Gears of War: Ultimate EditionGears of War: Ultimate Edition is a remaster of the original Gears of War game developed by The Coalition and Splash Damage and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft's Xbox One console and Windows 10 operating system.
The game features remastered graphics, textures and sound, while running at native 1080p 30 frames per second in the campaign and 1080p 60 frames per second in multiplayer, and includes the missions and maps from the PC version of the original Gears of War that were absent from the Xbox 360 version of the game.
More features have been added that include mechanics from newer Gears of War games, such as spotting and switching weapons while roadie running, among others.
