Super Mario 64 PC Port
Super Mario 64 PC PortSuper Mario 64 Port is an unofficial version of Super Mario 64. The game originated from a recreation of the Super Mario 64 source code, a result of the Nintendo 64 Decompilation Project. The game needs to be compiled in order to be played, being like the original game, but with technology enhancements and an all-new coding. Like a mod, the player still needs to have the original game to have its assets built in the new code (which is important to note, as distributing the compiled game on the web is copyright infringement, but the source code, created from scratch, isn't). Having a new and understandable code in C, the game can be modded with less effort. A Windows (and Linux) version (with native 4K resolution, 60 FPS, widescreen and XBOX controller support) was released in 2020, gaining popularity and a modding community.

Super Mario 64 2Super Mario 64 2
Super Mario 64 2Super Mario 64 2 was the tentative title for a Mario game in development that served as the direct sequel to Super Mario 64, intended for release in 1999. It was going to be for the Nintendo 64DD, but was canceled early in production due to lack of progress and the commercial failure of the 64DD add-on. Only one demo level was ever made but was never publicly revealed. It is also possible that Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, or Super Mario Galaxy 2 could have elements salvaged from the development of Super Mario 64 2, according to Nintendo during an E3 event. Luigi was also set to appear in this game, as was a rideable Yoshi. It can be assumed that Luigi would have been playable, as Shigeru Miyamoto had planned to make Super Mario 64 2 multiplayer – in fact, the first playable demo level was multiplayer.

Super Mario 3D World
Super Mario 3D WorldSuper Mario 3D World is a 3D platformer action game for the Wii U, and a follow-up of the Nintendo 3DS installment Super Mario 3D Land. The game builds upon the previous installment, following a similar 3D level-design convention inspired from the 2D platformer titles where players must navigate through a linear-designed level within a time limit to reach a level's Goal Pole. One key aspect introduced in this title is the simultaneous multiplayer: while not the first game in the series to do so, it is the first 3D title in the Mario series to incorporate up to four players cooperating with each other to reach the goal. Players can select their character from a pool of playable characters prior to starting the game, and each of these characters have their own unique playstyle that gives them advantages and disadvantages over other characters. The game makes use of several Wii U exclusive features, such as tapping blocks with the touch screen on the GamePad and blowing into the mic to reveal hidden items and blow away enemies. Various new power-ups are introduced in this title, with the trademark suit being the Cat power-up, which enables characters to perform a melee attack, climb up walls, and leap while midair, as well as the game generally having a cat-based theme.
