With Sony finally backing away from their PSN requirement for their singleplayer PC games, I think Sony should take an extra step forward by allowing the use of ANY online service completely optional. I think this sentiment is also applicable to the recently released God of War: Ragnarok PC port.

The inclusion of Venom and the Symbiote suit storyline adds weight and darkness, while also enhancing gameplay with new powers and mechanics. The emotional stakes are high, and the character development is deep and mature—rare for any superhero game.
