The in-game sound effects and music were awesome for the time and the graphics were very good for the time. Tried to play via internet and lan but I prefer playing solo. It was a fun game and each mission harder in some ways and I enjoy that and getting new units and materials can be hard especially when you try the sure fire ways to get it. I want to play this again and would also hope that the expansion called pirates moon would come with it and I want to be able to get this game easier and play it faster.
You can "feel" the mech you are controlling this game. No successor game managed to get it THAT right for some reason. I loved the atmosphere and still do to this day. Please make it happen GoG! :)

We use to haul our PC's over to my friend's place back in the day and have a LAN setup playing MW3 for hours! One of the guys insisted we play with cheats enabled so there were no weight limits and unlimited ammo. He went with his usual fully loaded Daishi. I stripped down an Owens of all its armor and gave it a single LRM (long range missile) launcher. The Owens was running circles around him, faster than the Daishi can turn. After numerous wins in a row, he rage quit and never played MW3 against me since. Brilliant game!

I loved this game so much and played the hell out of it. The opening cinematic is still by far the best one out of the entire Mechwarrior game series. It was great testing out all the different loadouts for your mechs and the campaign was fun too. I even have the "Reactor Online - Sensors Online - Weapons Online - All systems nominal" audio clip play whenever my phone connects to my car as I start it.
I still remember the mission briefings from this game. While some of the characters weren't the best, the MFB was great (I'd recommend finding a YT no-commentary vid of them). I had a whole twin joystick setup to play this, one to control motion and the other for weapons. I was so young, I thought I was quite clever for getting that working (looking back it's just a slight facepalm and sigh). I didn't have the internet to look stuff up, but legging all the clanners was something even young-stupid me worked out. I still have the disk in my archives, but I haven't managed to make it work since the early 2000s. I believe it was my first big stompy robot game, and tromping around only came back after MW5.

My first Mech Game and until today one of two games I've finished not just once. The reason why I used all my piggy bank money to get a 19 inch monitor. Which took half the space of my desk. Please!
I have never played this game, but my dad has played more hours on this game than some pro gamers have played on cod, he lost the game due pc issues and he could only download pirate copies which sadly on his first try downloaded a ransom virus which wiped a bunch of mine and my siblings baby photos (which he is still trying to get back years later). Gog is a trusted site and if this game could be brought back it would mean the world to him to be able to play it again :) so pretty please? (Sorry to sound sappy but its all true)

I have played all the mechwarrior series, its just the last "online" game that fell flat for me, but Mech3 had the best combination of playablity and massive story arc with multiple threads, all acted and voiced over so profesionally. I would gladly pay new game price if some one could make it work smoothly with win 11 and a modern joystick or game pad etc. Think, most people who know this game are settled, kids left or leaving, in good jobs etc. perfect demographic for good spending habits
Those games also need your vote!

True Crime: Streets of LA
True Crime: Streets of LATrue Crime: Streets of LA is a free-roaming driving and action game similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. The game's structure is mission-based; most of the missions are dictated by the story and initiate following a cutscene that advances it. Failing a mission still allows the player to continue playing through the chapter and undertake subsequent missions; in some cases this will lead to branching paths and optional missions. However, in order to complete the whole chapter the player must eventually succeed in all the main missions.

Unreal Tournament 2004
Unreal Tournament 2004Unreal Tournament 2004 is a multiplayer first person shooter that combines the kill-or-be-killed experience of gladiatorial combat with cutting-edge technology. Ten game modes - both team-based and "every man for himself" -- provide even the most hardcore gamer with palm-sweating challenges through unbelievably detailed indoor arenas and vast outdoor environments. As the ultimate techno-gladiator of the future, players will take their fates into their hands, battling against up to 32 other players online in action-packed, frag-filled arenas. Assault Mode - Assault mode returns! Redesigned for UT2004, this fan-favorite mode sees teams face-off to defend and attack fortified bases, from fast-moving trains, barreling across an arid alien desert to a Skaarj mother ship, poised to attack the human home world. Onslaught Mode - Onslaught mode takes team combat to the next level! Opposing teams are pitted against each other to capture and hold strategic points in order to attack and destroy the enemy power core. Taking place in massive outdoor environments, here is where vehicular combat comes into its own. Flying and driving machines take combatants to the frontline and gigantic mobile battle stations serve as a platform from which to launch devastating attacks. Vehicles - Rev-up and ride out in an array of land-, air-, and space-based vehicles that play critical roles in a successful combat strategy in Assault and Onslaught. With vehicles ranging from single man fighters to five man behemoths, Unreal Tournament 2004 provides players with plenty of choices when shopping for a mechanized implement of destruction. Levels - More than 95 maps will be available immediately, including more than 45 brand new maps for all existing game play modes as well as new modes of play. Vast outdoor environments, deep space combat areas and tightly packed indoor techno-arenas are all waiting for the latest entrants to the Tournament. Weapons - The entire smorgasbord of frag-dealing weaponry from Unreal Tournament 2003 returns for the experienced player to wield masterfully against new contestants. Those armaments are joined by three new implements of doom: the Mine layer, which disperses spider-like bombs that chase and harass any enemy that comes within range; the anti vehicle rocket launcher, or AVRiL, which deals out a payload of massive rockets tuned to seek and destroy enemy mechanized units; the Grenade Launcher, which launches timed explosives that will bounce on the ground and stick to enemies and enemy vehicles, only to be triggered by the weapons altfire command; and, the return of the notorious Sniper Rifle from the original Unreal tournament, completely redesigned and upgraded to make heads roll. New Characters - Unreal Tournament 2004 introduces 32 new characters on four new teams: The human Thunder Crash, lead by Tournament hero, Malcolm; the Robotic Corrupt, lead by an upgraded Xan Kriegor; the Iron Skull, a team of merciless Skaarj warriors; and the Hellions -- wreckless human mercenaries and pirates who delight in the thrill of the kill. New Technology - Unreal Tournament not only brings new content for hardcore fans to relish, it also delivers a tremendous technology update over its predecessor, delivering a faster, slicker, deeper experience than ever before.
