MediEvil
MediEvilMediEvil is an action-adventure game developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Originally released in 1998 for the PlayStation, the game follows Sir Daniel Fortesque, a skeletal knight accidentally resurrected to battle the sorcerer Zarok and save the kingdom of Gallowmere. The game takes place across a variety of levels, many of which require certain objectives to be performed to progress. Sir Daniel Fortesque can use a variety of weapons, consisting of close range weapons such as swords and clubs to long range weapons such as crossbows. Many of these weapons can be charged for a powerful attack and some weapons, such as the club, can be used to access areas that are otherwise inaccessible. When not possessing any items, Dan is able to rip his own arm off and use it for both melee and ranged attacks. Dan can equip a shield alongside weapons to defend against attacks; though they can only take several hits of damage before breaking. Throughout the game, Dan can visit gargoyle heads of two varieties; green ones offer Dan information while blue ones allow Dan to buy services or ammunition by using the treasures he finds. Dan's health is determined by a single health bar, which reduces when Dan is hit. It will deplete completely if Dan drowns or falls from a great height. If Dan completely runs out of health, the game will end. Dan can extend his maximum health by collecting Life Bottles, which will automatically refill his health bar if it drops to zero. Also hidden throughout the game are Life Vials and Life Fountains that can replenish Dan's health and fill up any empty Life Bottles Dan has. In each level, there is a hidden Chalice of Souls, which can be collected if the player fills it with enough souls from defeated enemies (some Chalices are awarded via other means). If the player clears a level with a Chalice in hand, Dan is warped to the Hall of Heroes, where he can speak to a legendary hero who will give him rewards, such as weapons. If the player finishes the game with all the Chalices, the game's true ending is revealed.

Shrek 2
Shrek 2Game based on the second movie, developed by the makers of Vigilante 8. Shrek is on a journey to meet his in-laws, so Shrek 2 follows his adventure to Far Away Land and the chaos that ensues once Fiona's parents learn that their precious daughter is an ogre -- and is married to the crudest of them all. Shrek 2 features a mixture of puzzle solving and enemy bashing. Players are able to control one of four characters at any given time -- swapping between them at will. Each character has a set of basic attack moves and a special ability. Donkey has a "Burro Blast" that can knock down large objects, Shrek can pick up and throw heavy objects, and Fiona -- in a nod to her fight scene in the first movie -- can slow down time, Matrix-style.

Brave Dwarves
Brave DwarvesBrave Dwarves is a fantasy platform game where you control one of two Dwarves fighting against 'The Great Evil' that has taken over their underground kingdom. The player has a warrior and a mage character to choose from; there are ordinary weapons for the warrior, and magic weapons (incantations) for the mage. Both the magical and ordinary weapon types and strength depends on the power stored in four orbs for controlling the four elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The orbs are found laying around on the map, and at the beginning, you only have a single weapon & attack type - for the Warrior its a plain melee attack with his axe - but the orbs & diamonds you find lets you use other attack types: the axe can also throw flaming fire, or homing missiles for example. The mage starts out with a wand that can do a water attack. No damage shows any blood, only smokepuffs. The orbs power source is taken from colored diamonds found in the caves: Green for Earth, Red for Fire, Blue for Water and White for Air. There are also some diamonds with combined orb energy effects: Light Blue for Air & Water and Purple for Fire & Earth. The underground Kingdom is divided into 50 platform levels, to finish a level three larger Key-diamonds must be found; one each of Green, Red and White color - these will open the door to the next level. In the unregistered version, only five levels are available, and there are some other limitations - the demo has no bosses for instance. In the caves are monsters (of course) but also treasure laying around, which is gathered by walking over them, and added to the player score. Touching a monster loses health. Beakers with blue liquid and large red hearts restore health A highscore list is available in the registered version, as are passwords & savegames letting a player continue from the last saved location.
