Story:Muv-Luv is a Japanese visual novel originally released as an adult game and the first game in the Muv-Luv franchise. Subsequent releases of the games were with the adult content removed. The game consists of two parts: Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited, which is unlocked after completing the two main heroine routes in Extra. The gameplay in Muv-Luv follows a linear plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction, and focuses on the differing scenarios of the female main characters. In 2015, the game, alongside Muv-Luv Alternative, photonflowers*, and photonmelodies♮, was fully funded for an English release on Kickstarter, for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation Vita, and mobile platforms.Show more

One of the greatest trilogies written in any format! This one consists of the first two volumes: Extra and Unlimited. Extra is not that good, let's be honest. IMO it's best to just do Sumika's and Meiya's routes and then jump straight into Unlimited, because hoooo boy that's where the fun really starts. Simply one of the best coming of age stories of all time! Highly recommended! Please get this on here GOG because more people need to experience Muv-Luv!
One of the best VN trillogies out there. Even going as far as to influence Attack on Titan (Its true, look it up!) Everything ties together, even Extra which some people push aside. But the other two, Ultimate and Alternative, are where the story really shines! A good read!

The game now got some different part since the player has to manage the eatery and the waitresses, all of whom are lovely and potential love interests. During each week he has to decide about the coffee shop menus, the prices, what will be the waitress duties during that week and also what he is going to do that week (he can study management, rest, etc.). There are some times during each week that the player is giving some choices (like in all visual novel adventures) and depending of them the game ending will be different.
