Story:Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on - and Tear, her newfound fairy "companion", won't take no for an answer! As Recette, you have to decide how you'll get your stock - either through playing the markets in town or going out into the wild with an adventuring friend and thrashing beasts until they give up the goodies - how much to sell things for, what the shop should look like, and how to best go about getting the money Tear needs to pay off the loan. It's a whimsical tale of the daughter of a dead shopkeep, who also inerhite a big pile of debt.
You will struggle to send heroes to the dungeon to fetch stuff, visit the markets to buy low, sell high and try to entice your customers to buy, buy buy!
Really a nice game to learn basic capitalism and have fun at that!
A favorite of mine in the same vein of Stardew Valley. A (mostly) cozy game that lets you go at your own pace. You play as a little Recette, a young girl whose father seems to have abandoned her to be adventurer and subsequently disappeared, missing presumed dead. In doing so, he saddled Recette with a mount of debt. In comes what is essentially a fantasy Repo Faery Woman, Tear, who understands the difficult situation Recette is in and decides to help her through it, by having Recette run an Item Shop. The target main clientelle is mostly Adventurers, but the shop sells to anyone who comes in the door.
The other half of the game comes from picking an Adventurer partner to run through a Dungeon with, using mostly simple Action RPG mechanics. There's quite a lot of fun to be had here if you can muster up the patience for it.

Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic.

Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008.
The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister.
