Resident Evil Survivor

Resident Evil Survivor (2000)

by Tose, Capcom, Eidos Interactive
Genres:Puzzle, Shooter
Themes:Action, Horror, Survival
Game modes:Single player
Story:Resident Evil Survivor is the first Resident Evil title to be rendered in real time as opposed to making use of pre-rendered backdrops. Levels are explored in first person, and when enemies are encountered the press of a button will bring up a targeting reticle for shooting. As with most light-gun games there is infinite pistol ammunition available, but limited ammunition for more powerful weapons. At the end of each level two doors are presented which both lead to different levels, although all paths eventually lead to the same ending.Show more

I would love to see the game released on PC. I've never had the opportunity to play it, and I've always wanted to do so. I hope that if the game is released on GOG, it will get an upgrade and PC mouse controls. I'm keeping my fingers very much crossed.
The Ark Thompson special! Hell yeah! This game is mega underrated and if given mouse aiming and Sinden gun support would FINALLY be able to be played the way it was intended. This game is a major part of my Twitch channel and has created in jokes like “ANSWER ME” and “The Phone Hang Up”. It has a special place in my heart and it will in yours too if you DONT listen to the YouTube videos and give it a shot

Of all the classic RESIDENT EVIL games released for PC in the 2000s, RE SURVIVOR is definitely the one that needs a compatibility upgrade the most. Even the classic versions of RE1, RE2 and RE3 were always playable thanks to several community patches, and they were also re-released in the future by Sourcenext bringing more compatibility, so these games were somehow still playable. RE SURVIVOR has several bugs and a single version that was never well adapted for PC, a GOG upgrade would be very welcome as it would make this classic truly playable today.

Jogo incrível e esquecido pela CAPCOM. É um clássico em primeira pessoa muito importante da história dos videos games!! Seria de extrema importância seu lançamento
So my friend owned this game and he brought it down because as we all did as kids, lights off, curtains drawn as you sit round the TV to play games like Resi and Silent Hill etc. Only this one caught us off guard as we played on and on and couldn't figure out for the life of us why we hadn't come across a single typewriter, only for us to put two and two together, look at the game case and be like. Ah right, that's why it's called Survivor.
This game has a Chinese/taiwanese version only on PC. I would love to see this version used since i want an actual port and not an emulated version of the game. In case GOG want to know what's to fix, You need to fix the AI a bit , the sound , the graphics , the lighting and the aiming system with the mouse. That game deserve a re-release.
Resident Evil Survivor is not a *good* game per se, but it's one I'll buy first chance I get. It's camp, it's silly and even when engaging with it on those terms, it wasn't an especially good fps; not on console that is. If the PC port (with mouse aiming) were made available, we could *at least* enjoy the campness on offer more comfortably. Please let us RE Survivors fans experiences Ark's adventure again Gog and Capcom, there are dozens of us. Dozens!
Yes just because a copy of this for the ps1 is (like many other games kidnapped by scalpels) stupidly expensive. I never finished this one so I sort of have it as a pebble in my shoe.
Po dziś dzień, boję się tej gry, a mam już 31 lat. Starszy brat grał, ja patrzyłem i się bałem. :D Zagrałbym z przyjemnością. To this day, I am afraid of this game, and I am already 31 years old. :D My older brother played, I watched and was afraid. I would play with pleasure.
Those games also need your vote!

Star Fox 2
Star Fox 2After the success of Star Fox, Nintendo decided to make a sequel on the same system. However, with the release of the Nintendo 64 looming close, Nintendo decided to cancel the game despite it being nearly complete. Many features of this game were later reused in Star Fox 64, most notably Star Wolf, and the game itself was later leaked as source code and compiled into a working ROM. The game was later released for the SNES Classic console as an unlockable game, marking its first official release. Since then, the game was also released for the Nintendo Switch Online service.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
