A really unique game that had awesome matches. Getting to make your own custom load out was great, and while I like its sequel more overall, the original has the better maps. Sadly, you can't buy this game anymore, but it still runs fine on modern hardware once you get past the games for windows live bit.
It was fun playing on the Xbox 360. The mix of unreal tournament movement with the power armor close to Heinlein starship troopers is really hard to find. I would love to see this available again.

Even tho (as an Xbox player) Halo is my all time favorite, Section 8 is not only the first game I played on Xbox but is what made me the die-hard gamer I am today. This game has fun action; the gunplay feels amazing; and is one of the few games aside from Halo where you feel like a supersoldier POWERHOUSE!! Obviously I'd love to have this game again, but I wish the world new more about it.
I played the PS3 demo for Section 8 so much back when it was new-ish because I really enjoyed its unique take on the FPS genre (including trading traditional spawns for the ability to drop onto the map freely and potentially crush an enemy when you land, which is hard but awesome to pull off), but I never got the full version for whatever reason. It wasn't until last year that it wormed its way back into my brain and I decided to get a physical PC copy. By now, the game has pretty much been left in a compromised state, if not dead outright, for over a decade-- delisted, original multiplayer offerings largely unusable, DLC maps unavailable to buy, developer shut down (which is a tragedy of its own)-- but still enjoyable, since I don't mind playing bot matches or the campaign. That said, a rerelease with GfWL taken out and multiplayer/DLC reimplemented would certainly be welcome. I'd enjoy seeing this game return to its full glory. Same with its sequel Prejudice, too, of course.

Dolphin Blue
Dolphin BlueYou take on the role of either Ann (a royal army soldier who is out to protect the kingdom) or Erio (an arms dealer with a thirst for action). The game is set in the future and it appears a major incident has transformed what used to be a peace-filled nation into a troubled land of waste and ruin. What exactly has happened in this land remains unknown but whatever it was, it has damaged the earth's surface. Now the entire location is immersed in water. Our gallant heroes must now protect the earth's remains from the dastardly evil empire that are planning to take over the world. Dolphin Blue is an action side-scrolling shoot-em up with great graphics, super sound and gripping gameplay that will leave you sitting on the edge of your dolphin!

Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Code: VeronicaResident Evil Code: Veronica is the fourth video game in Capcom's Resident Evil survival horror series. The game continues the survival horror gameplay of its predecessors: the protagonist explores the surroundings, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. However, it is the first game in the series to do away with pre-rendered backgrounds using a fully polygonal 3D engine instead, which allows for features such as real-time lighting and camera movement. Still, such movements are only used sparingly, and the use of perspective is mostly unchanged from earlier installments: the camera automatically switches to different static angles showing protagonists, monsters and rooms from different spooky viewpoints.
