Amazing series. If you look deeper than what you can find on the images, you will find amazing characters with amazing backstories. You might even relate to some of them. Dealing with the pressure of being a descendant of someone powerful, living in poverty, isolating yourself from society, ... . What for most people started with a naughty fighting game has stayed in most peoples hearts as a comfort series, where you can just forget everything that is going on in your life and go back to a simpler time. Simple yet deep games, that make you laugh right after making you emotional. I will never understand how the series basically ended, because the corporations behind it are more and more against fanservice. How can ultra violent games keep coming out, while games that just show a bit of skin are being discontinued. Please bring the rest of the series to GOG so more people can experience them, while people that already love them can finally have them locally backed up (without a DRM) so they can always go back to their comfort games.
Those games also need your vote!

The Real Ghostbusters
The Real GhostbustersA 3-player top-down arcade game where one player controls one of three unidentified ghost-busters. The game is based off of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, rather than strictly off the movie franchise. The player can choose between a red, yellow or blue-jumpsuited character though all have the same abilities. These powers include an energy gun that transforms a hostile monster into a harmless, basic ghost, which are then captured using the proton beam. Other abilities are an invincibility field and the ability to summon Slimer to absorb attacks instead of the player. In Japan the game is known as Meikyuu Hunter G, but bears little resemblance to the western version as it did not use the Ghostbusters license.

Ghostbusters
GhostbustersGhostbusters is an action game that features an overhead-view and a side-view. From Ghostbusters HQ, the player must monitor a map of midtown Manhattan for "ghost alarms", as well as for casual, roaming spirits, and plot a route to the alarmed area. Once the route is plotted, the player then controls the purchased Ghostmobile as it drives through traffic. Here, the player is able to capture casual ghosts on the way if they are en route. When the haunted location is reached, the game switches to a side-view. Two of the Ghostbusters will take position, activate their proton beams, and toss a trap to the ground. The player must then use the two Ghostbusters to attempt to lead the ghost(s) over the placed trap. Once activated, the trap springs to capture any ghosts directly above it. A successful capture will earn the player money, which can then be used to purchase new Ghostbusters vehicles and new modifications for it. An unsuccessful capture will see the ghost fly away (after nastily sliming one of the Ghostbusters).
