Story:Sentient is a first-person adventure developed by Psygnosis and released on the PlayStation in 1997. It was also released for the PC the same year.
Sentient's main feature is the artificial intelligence controlling multiple individual crew members aboard the station, each with their own assignments and behaviors. You interact with the AI characters through an elaborate parser interface, which allows you to ask them everything from the location of a vital piece of equipment, to their opinion of another member of the crew. To succeed, you must take advantage of the crew's help through this social system.
Through interaction with more than 60 characters and exploration of 200 real-time rendered locations you need to try and save the ship, and yourself. The game automatically randomizes sub-plots so that it will be different every time you play.Show more

I played the demo first from the playstation magazine, I remember for ages no shop seemed to have the game then randomly one day I came across a second hand copy and I was blown away by the idea of maybe the freedom it gave well kind of freedom not seen in many games earlier on on the ps1 besides Kingsfield 1 which was actually 2 had or atleast games I had access to at the time just great early days of games evolving into 3d from 2d, it's kind of the norm now but then was wow that looks so real but it didn't really 🤣 true arcade in the living room actually there are so many ps1 and 2 games which I could think of but anyway this is definitely a rare one which should be considered.
Ps there wasn't really such of a story to this but we all have this type of find now any then back then 😉

To progress from one level to the other you must destroy red, yellow, and blue Garan stones. By destroying the Garan stones, the bar on the right hand side of the screen will go from RED to YELLOW to BLUE. To progress to the next level, the bar must be at least to BLUE. There are some crystals that cannot be destroyed, but you can come back to get them later. You can also make the bar go up by destroying enemies, but it is not as much as destroying actual crystals.Action Fantasy
