This is a masterpiece. I first played on Dreamcast and later on Gamecube and countless times since. It has a sense of exploration that most games still struggle with today that deserves preservation and attention. It's high flying adventure is one of the most magical things I've experienced. Ship combat is also an amazing part of the game on top of the standard turn based rpg formula. If you love pirates, adventure, freedom, and the idea of a world built of islands and continents floating in the endless skies, then this is an absolute must play.

Skies of Arcadia is Sega's Magnum Opus. It's rich world is a delicately woven, colorful tapestry full of dozens of unforgettable characters, locales, and set pieces that stick with you for a life time. Sega has ignored decades of requests to make it available to play for modern audiences despite their doing so for other entries in their Dreamcast Era lineup like the Sonic Adventure series and Jet Set Radio.

If we think of games that made ‘core’ memories, for many these would be ‘FFVII’ or ‘Ocarina of Time’. Those would be a core for me too, but way later. Back then, what I had was a Dreamcast, and the dream that it casted for me that I will never forget is to fly the Skies of Arcadia.

A masterpiece of the late Phoenix Rie (Rieko Kodama), this convergence of Sega's JRPG lineages combines the operatic scope of Phantasy Star with the airborne combat and exploration of Panzer Dragoon Saga. A truly unique entry in the genre, unavailable to purchase for two decades.
it was the very first rpg game that was so fun and addicting to me that it made me want to 100 percent it more than once because it was so fun, and plus the music alone just makes it so amazing

I remember back shortly after I graduated, I bought a Dreamcast for the heck of it. It came with Skies of Arcadia. This game alone brought to me a love of airships and exploration that I hadn't experienced since the days of Final Fantasy 6 (3, back when I played it) The combat felt, admittedly a bit slow at first, but after a few hours in, I didn't even notice it. I would love nothing more than to experience this again.

This is one of the best JRPGs ever made, with excellent graphics, characters, soundtrack, and gameplay. One of the things that sets it apart from games of its kind is the battles with flying ships. It deserves a release on GOG so more players can learn about it and enjoy it.

Masterpiece, I don't know why sound is better on the dream cast, the feel was better as the pinta quest was one of the thing was hard to do but in the end it was an awesome story, characters and overall a masterpiece.

Easily one of my favorite RPGs of all time. It was the game that got me into turn-based RPGs and to this day, I haven't played a game like it. This game needs to be revived so that way people can play this masterpiece. From the setting, to the story, characters, OST, ect. I played this on Dreamcast when came out and I've been hooked ever since. Truly an experience that everyone needs to play! RIP Rieko Kodama

This game is the reason I got into the games industry. Having completed it several times, I love the story, the characters and the setting. For me, this is what an RPG should be. I love it dearly, and only wish that more people could experience it.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins
Tenchu: Stealth AssassinsTenchu: Stealth Assassins is an action-adventure stealth game developed by Acquire and published by Sony Music Entertainment Japan in Japan and Activision worldwide for the PlayStation in 1998. Tenchu is known for its stealth gameplay and the eerie settings of feudal Japan. Tenchu was one of the first ninja games to incorporate stealth, a very crucial aspect of ninjutsu. However, aside from featuring traditional martial arts in battles, the game incorporates elements of historical fantasy and Japanese mythology. The game also used motion capture where actor/martial artist Sho Kosugi and his son Kane, were hired as actors for the game's combat moves.

Sonic Blast
Sonic BlastFully rendered graphics thrust Sonic into an exciting 3D playing environment. An all new gameplay perspective puts you in the middle of Sonic's 3D adventure! The evil genius Robotnik is after the Chaos Emeralds and it's up to Sonic to stop him. Rescue the innocent Flickies before Robotnik turns them into part of his evil plan! Sonic Blast was the last Sonic game for the Game Gear. The game was also ported to the Sega Master System in Brazil by TecToy and released in December 1997, making it the last game ever made for that system. While this game was released at the end of 1996 in conjunction with the similarly named Sonic 3D Blast, it is worth noting that the two games have little in common. No enemies, levels, or bosses, are shared between the games. The story is also completely different. Sonic and Knuckles join together to collect five of a Chaos Emerald's pieces and confront Dr. Robotnik at Silver Castle.
