Game modes:Single player
Story:Sonic Adventure is a 3D platformer video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The player can control six characters from the Sonic universe, each with their own gameplay and point of view of the story. The game is divided up into two types of levels: Action Stages and Adventure Fields. The division of Action Stages and Adventure Fields are a serious departure from all previous Sonic games. Adventure Fields are non-linear game stages that contain very few items, generally designed for puzzle solving, exploration and plot advancement. Action Stages are more speed based and have Rings scattered in them. Sonic Adventure was the top-selling Dreamcast game and received a sequel in 2001, marking the 10th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.Show more

Please let SEGA port the original for once... DX is an awful port by all accounts and SA1 needs a second look on a version that isn't horribly broken. As much of a pipe dream I think this is given SEGA's insistence on porting the horrid DX version, I'm holding out hope this can get SA1 the much needed do-over it deserves, because it plays great on the original Dreamcast and I'm tired of people judging it based on it's botched port jobs.

Sonic Adventure is in a weird spot. It's remembered by being that buggy game that everyone laughed at way before Sonic 06 was even a thing. And this is because of the Remaster version, Sonic Adventure DX Director's cut. I won't sugar coat it. SADX was awfull and it just gives the game a bad name. However, the original Sonic Adventure is still stuck on the Dreamcast and is high quality. This is the version that we should have gotten and I think now is the time to replace DX with the better version of this game.

The original Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure is by far and away the definitive version of the game that later ports and remasters could sadly never live up to I remember one faithful Christmas where I got my own Sega Dreamcast along with this game and it's sequel
Sonic Adventure was the big reason why I wanted a Sega Dreamcast back in the day. Just to see Sonic in 3D and be able to play through those stages in such environment was mind blowing. Granted, Nintendo did it first with Mario, but just to blast through the stages at fast speeds (with the exception of a few characters you get to play as) was an absolute joy. If this ever makes it to GOG, please let it be the International release of the game and not Japanese original that Sega seems to love to port over with the DX release time and again.

Digimon Adventure
Digimon AdventureDigimon Adventure (aka Digimon) is a bootleg platformer for the SNES and Game Boy Advance based on Digimon. Digimon Adventure uses the same engine as Pocket Monster, thus the gameplay mechanics are the same. The game spans six levels, which include two boss fights. The only playable character is Agumon. The player can attack enemies by pressing A to shoot a fireball. Each level has a strawberry item that, once collected, transforms that the player into Greymon, who's fireball attack is much larger and stronger. Once the player loses all their lives, they're given a chance to continue, which seems to have no limit. The game steals nearly all of its graphics from numerous other sources. Of all the levels, so far the only identified source is the background from the last battle being taken from Castlevania Dracula X. The sound engine and music are also stolen from Bonkers for the SNES, which, like the game engine, is also used in Pocket Monster and Pokemon Gold and Silver.
