Story:Sonic Shuffle is a party game developed by Sonic Team and Hudson Soft and published by Sega for the Dreamcast video game console. The game is based on the prospect of advancing characters around a board game while playing mini-games in between turns, much in the same vein as Nintendo's Mario Party.
Sonic Shuffle is the first Sonic the Hedgehog game in the party genre. The game's story centers on Sonic and his friends as they attempt to restore a dream world by gathering the shards of a powerful object dubbed the Master Precioustone. This game had an immense amount of potential, I have many fond memories huddled around our dreamcast in the dead of winter, playing on tropical beaches collecting the precious stones.
A GOG re-release from the team would also be able to address the top three issues that were present in the original release:
- Slow Loading Times (likely not an issue on modern hardware)
- Misleading Game Instructions (likely able to be addressed with localization text rewrites)
- AI Cheating (this would be harder to fix but would be the most important)
If GOG team can port, fix, and release, we'll have a game that was better than it ever was at release. Please vote up Shuffle <3
Creature Conflict: The Clan WarsCreature Conflict is a blend of turn-based tactical and real time action/arcade elements. In this case, however, the battlefields are not 2D landscapes, but completely 3D mini-planets. The main idea is simple: 2-4 teams of animals (controlled by either human players or the computer) take it in turns as they try to destroy the enemy teams. The game is laden with well-know arcade elements (moving platforms, sinking blocks etc.) that further increase the challenge and fun factor of the game.Fantasy
Martian Gothic: UnificationMartian Gothic : Unification is one of the numerous titles which came out at the end of the PlayStation lifespan. At first glance, it looks like a typical Resident Evil rip-off with a futuristic paint, a disturbing cover and bad voice-acting. Of course, the game ended up selling very poorly. But it's so much more than that.
Incidentally, it is also Creative Reality's last game. Sharing the same team and the same writer than Dreamweb, it comes as no surprise that the game heavily relies on writing and puzzles. Breath of Fire: Dragon QuarterBreath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is a radical departure from the previous titles of the Breath of Fire series, and in some ways from standard Japanese-style role-playing games in general. The game is built like a huge dungeon crawler, with no overworld map. The combat is tactical: each character has action points (AP), which can be used to move around the screen during an enemy encounter, and perform a variety of combo attacks.
